Amazing Journey

This is an amazing moment which I need to share when our family finally done my home completion yesterday. I come from Hong Kong and we are the first time buyer in UK. A professional sales team and a great helpful project team which make me feel like my hometown. St Modwen is a great and efficient builder, Even we face a lot of troubles and problems of my new house, They are patient and kindness to solve the way, I need to special thanks to sales team Aaron/Jayne/Caroline . They are super perfect team and the best .

Don't fill in the survey!!

The house on the most part has been good, we didn't have a huge list of snags, although most of them were only completed to a barely passable level after several rounds of contacting them! The garden was not fit for purpose and required escalating to a higher level, but was eventually sorted. But once the we filled in the survey giving them a high rating, all contact stops, nothing will now be fixed, you'll be lucky to get a response from them!! DO NOT FILL IN THE SURVEY! We discovered an obvious fault with the Bath in one of the bathrooms that we very rarely used, probably down to how it was stored before installation. After weeks of complaining through multiple customer care channels, they absolutely do not care and will not touch it. We've been given different excuses ranging from I can't really see anything wrong with this too we don't replace sanitary products after 2 weeks. This is an obvious fault that they have simply washed their hands of, and we'll have to pay to resolveEDIT:Responded privately as requested by St Modwen, and have been completely ignored! moved down to 1 star

I purchased a St Modwen Home in Oct 2022. I have had a few issues, but these have all now been resolved by St Modwen. I can’t thank the staff enough for all their hard work. From dealing with Simon and Toni in sales to Matt the site manager, Callum and John and Josh from customer services who have been very professional and helpful on all levels. St Modwen should be very proud of the staff on this site who are absolutely amazing 😀 😀

Another false promise by St Modwen. After my last one star review, I was contacted via Facebook DM. The team advised forwarding my emails and they would arrange for the North West Team to address my concerns. This was brilliant service although a little late as it had already been months of no response to my communications.

Top man, Matt!

Had some work carried out today on various cosmetic issues around the home. Matt Thorpe did a brilliant job! We had a dent in the wall you’d never think was ever there! Very professional job. Matt also went above and beyond and helped with a few other issues that I’d pointed out. Excellent service all round. And more importantly, he’s definitely made the missus happy which is often difficult to do! 🤣🤣 Top man. Cheers!

Don’t be fooled

Great home designs, owned our current home in Cofton Hackett for over 3 years. The major issue though is the corners that are cut and lack of accountability after they take your money. Customer service and them maintaining the estate, any snagging, etc. as they are required to has been utter s***. If you are a new buyer or looking at one of their houses, don’t let yourself get sucked in on the design alone, they will absolutely devalue your house and experience with everything they fail to do at the back end. Utter utter s***.

Matt sorted it.

Matt came out to help fix some sealant surrounding the sink splash back area and also fix an issue with the pipes behind the walls. He was polite, professional, he gave advice on post care of the fixture. He completed the task professionally, the walls looked brand new, the area was neat and tidy after the jib was complete and he even wore protective cover on his shoes so not to dirty my carpet. Thank you.

A smooth transition into our new home at Pear Tree Fields.We obviously had a snagging list, nothing was too much trouble for our customer service manager Dan, he is very empathetic to customer expectations.We had no intention of purchasing a brand new home, but due to time restraints we were left with little choice. St Modwen homes made it a swift and smooth experience and we are delighted with the build quality and finish.

Wow, from start to finish we’ve had nothing but a great experience buying a St Modwen home. Simon and Toni from sales have been so helpful during the whole moving process. Any questions or queries were answered promptly and openly. I felt they both went above and beyond to get us into our perfect dream home. Since moving in, we’ve had nothing but a great experience. Our home is perfect and completed to such a high standard! We’ve had multiple check in’s from Liam and the rest of the building team and the level of communication is so reassuring. I know if there ever was a problem we wouldn’t be concerned about it not being addressed. 10/10 service and satisfaction. Couldn’t ask for anything more really. I would recommend a St Modwen home to anyone in a heartbeat.

Absolutely perfect Still Water at Glan Llyn

St Modwen homes has been an absolute dream to work with, moving home can be stressful, but the staff we have dealt with have been nothing more than amazing. Paula will literally bend over backwards to make sure that the sale goes through smoothly her efforts really made the process wonderful. Josh with the aftercare has been top notch, checking in with us to make sure everything is perfect and no question is too much hassle for him, friendly and genuinely wants to help to make sure our home is perfect and Callum who helped us some small jobs around the house was fabulous and would recommend him in a heart beat! Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the team overall have nothing bad to say.
