We used the guys at Rice Chamberlains recently and were very glad that we made that choice. Our transaction was fairly complicated as it involved a probate and things didn’t happen in the usual order, so we never really imagined that it would come together. As with all house purchases, there were a fair few ups and downs, and at times it has been quite stressful. The team at Rice have been there throughout and their support has been invaluable. It has genuinely felt like they’ve been with us every step of the way. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this team. They are professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

I was nervous about selling our house after being there for 23 years. From the moment James arrived I knew we would be ok. He made me believe it would all be alright. James took wonderful photo's to show our house at it's absolute best. We sold our house in Cotteridge on our first day of viewings thanks to the wonderful Matt. He took time to show our buyers the house and garden without rushing them, giving them time to make an informed decision about the home they were about to purchase. Matt then, with the help of the team at Rice, guided us and our buyers through the whole process. Answering our questions and always on hand to offer advice with both our sale and the purchase of our new home. What can we say. Excellent company who are a pleasure to deal with. From the initial meeting with James who set our concerns at rest and knew the market so well, to Aimee who was professional to a tee with viewings, negotiations and dealt with our long and arduous move with many twists and turns professionally and proactively. Felt like they were only ones on our side after having issues with one particularly awful upper chain that eventually collapsed due to unscrupulous behaviour on exchange date. The team at Rice Chamberlain provided outstanding service both for renting my property and its subsequent sale. The tenants proved to be difficult by refusing to vacate the house at the end of their contract but Abigail and Hannah dealt with the matter professionally and successfully by getting them to eventually leave and organising the repair of the damage incurred by them. James was exemplary in selling the house under the difficult circumstances of Covid 19 lockdown restrictions. In spite of these he obtained a good price and was proactive in pushing the sale through.
