Sara and Sami at MECS were brilliant for our purchase as first time buyers. From the start, they were great at communicating, helping to give us guidance on what we needed to do and when. They were also a massive help throughout the process in ensuring that all parties and solicitors were making progress. We had difficulties with solicitors on both sides, and Sara and Sami were brilliant in pushing them along and in keeping us informed on the whole chain, and keeping us calm in what felt like a storm! The management may seem friendly during your stay, but that changes the moment your deposit is due. They impose numerous inflated and unjustified charges without any transparency, then ignore all calls and emails when you try to resolve the issue. The property, while cosmetically presentable, is poorly maintained, leaks and damage are left unaddressed. Don’t be misled by their initial politeness, it’s purely superficial. I’ve rented for many years and have never encountered an agency this unprofessional. Avoid if possible.

First time renting for nearly a year and MECS have been very helpful whenever we have contacted them to fix or improve things within the property. Thank you Sophie for getting this sorted for us. I particularly want to call out Sami (whom I have only met a few times through contacting the letting agency MECS) he was super helpful when our boiler broke down and visited us to help fix the frozen pipe issue on a weekend.
