I had the pleasure to purchase my first home with Andy, which completed a couple of weeks ago. Before this purchase, I have viewed 40+ houses in Birmingham and interacted with 10+ agencies, so i am very well placed to comment on Andy's service among his peers. Conclusions first, Andy is highly experienced, patient, easy-to-reach and knowledgable, one of the top agents in the Bham area. If he has house you love and that you can afford it -- go with him! Top quality houses: Andy has been in the industry for some years, once the assocaite director of a leading estate firm (i did my research before talking to him), and he started his own business. He has the resources of top quality house in Harborne, Edgbaston and Quinton. If i want to sell my house some years later, i will go to him again. Professionalism & attention to details: Andy remembered my name at the first time. Most properties are viewed by ~20 groups before landing a buyer, so this is impressive (and rare!). He is also very knowledgable with details of each house. Not all agencies are near this good that i can confidently testify. Excellent communication: some big agencies always have many teams, and frankly, queries can be redirected a few times before gotten answered some days later. In here, you are only dealing with Andy, not anyone else. He remembered all my requests and delivered feedback promptly. He helped me communicate with the seller reneogiating the prices, arranged surveys and even after sales queries. He did not fail me once. Buying houses can be quite stressful, finding a great agency and a great solicitor makes your life much much easier.

Our house was proving tricky to sell. Andy took on the challenge and was able to sell our house and see it through to completion in under 10 weeks and for over the asking price. Andy offers a very personal and bespoke approach, everything is carried out by him from choreographing the photo shoot to doing every viewing himself, meaning potential buyers are greeted by someone who knows the house and can answer all questions. Sold our semi-detached In Oldbury via Andy. The communication was great throughout and Andy really knows his stuff. Having worked for a big estate agency before Andy brings a wealth of experience but with a more friendly smaller company approach now that he runs his own business. If you want bigger business professionalism with a smaller business personalised engagement McHugo homes is for you.
