Robot refused to give me a viewing

Awful experience trying to arrange a viewing. Spent yonks on the phone with a robot. It asked me unnecessary questions and misheard things; then had to reconfirm everything. Eventually it was happy. I hung up and it started again this time by text. In the end it refused to let me have a viewing unless I told them my spending budget - which I wasn't prepared to do. Do not sell your property through these idiots.

Disappointed

Disappointed, we learned our house purchase had fallen through at the point of us being ready to exchange on our property. We found out that the office had known about it and left it to the agent, who had been looking after us, to tell us after she came back from annual leave! We never got a reason for the purchase to fall through and they even tried delaying us putting an offer in on another property. Luckily this was with another agent and we trusted our gut as the trust with Hunters had gone. 7 weeks later we were in our new home. Felt let down and disappointed with Hunters. This was our first and last time dealing with them.

My experience with Hunters was deeply…

My experience with Hunters was deeply disappointing. Repeated administrative errors relating to notices and tenancy handling caused unnecessary delays, additional time, and avoidable stress during possession proceedings. When I recently contacted the branch again regarding future instructions, I was informed in a dismissive manner that they no longer wished to work with me due to previous disputes, disputes which arose from their own handling failures. Professionalism, accountability, and respectful communication appear seriously lacking based on my experience!

Avoid with all cost!

Rented an apartment they told me it was deep cleaned before handing over the keys and everything would be fixed etc nothing was cleaned blood on walls mould in all rooms had a faulty/leaky boiler very slack on emails no communication in there office also they was very rude over the phone we never moved into the property due to all the damages and mould etc I was willing to give up my first months rent and for them to send me back the deposit but they refused to send anything back I would highly do not recommend this company/agancey to rent/buy a property from they are useless and slack

"Avoid Hunters Property Management, Inefficient, Rude, and Unprofessional"My experience with Hunters Property Management has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. They have consistently demonstrated poor service, inefficiency, and a dismissive attitude towards tenant concerns.Ineffective Issue Resolution: Hunters fails to handle even basic maintenance issues. For example, a heating issue during winter was passed to the landlord without any attempt to troubleshoot. I had to step in and take personal risks to resolve the problem myself, only to discover it was a simple battery replacement. Their inability to perform even basic triage highlights their lack of professionalism and problem-solving capabilities.Creating Gaps Between Tenants and Landlords: Instead of acting as a competent mediator, Hunters merely relays messages between tenants and landlords, causing delays and unnecessary misunderstandings. This approach has damaged the relationship between myself and the landlord, as the agency often fails to communicate effectively or accurately.Rude and Dismissive Behavior: The staff frequently respond to concerns with a dismissive tone, making tenants feel unsupported and undervalued. Their arrogant demeanor gives the impression that addressing tenant concerns is a favor rather than their responsibility.Neglecting Tenant Safety and Comfort: Health and safety issues, such as rat infestations and malfunctioning alarms, were not addressed promptly, despite the serious risks they posed. I was very fortunate that Hunters Harborne were highly recommended to me for my flat sale and from the start I was impressed with their friendly and professional approach. Andy and Jake set up the initial arrangements and I was very reassured by how everything was managed, especially with all the Covid restrictions. Bethany then handled the sale process to completion which was rather protracted owing to circumstances outside our control, but she kept me informed at every stage and always followed up my queries immediately, which kept my stress to a minimum! lettings fees are very high

For lettings their fees are very expensive. First 3 months of my 450 rent studio flat they took and I did not get anything. When tenant leaves another month will be gone as inventory check is 180 and cleaning in 250 and this is for a studio flat. If i want to cancel the contract i have to pay 900. Stay away.

I first met Andy from Hunters (Harborne) in 2014 when he was the estate agent selling the house I bought. I found him honest, helpful and very knowledgable but not pushy. When it came to selling my house this year I knew exactly who I wanted as my estate agent! This time, Jake and Sophie were also part of the team with Andy, and all were absolutely exceptional. Recently went through the process of renting a house through Hunters and it must have been the easiest and best experience I've had. The process was extremely speedy, streamlined and efficient. We viewed the house one Saturday, and exactly 2 weeks later we had the keys! All queries have been responded to quickly. From the initial meeting with the agents in the office, I found that the team were both very knowledgeable with how the market was going and prospects for selling the property.
