Ethan at Dixons Estate Agents Birmingham is hands down the best estate agent I've worked with in the city. From our first phone call he took real time to listen and understand exactly what I was looking for in a property. He wasn't just pushing whatever was available to make a quick sale. He genuinely focused on finding the right fit for my needs and priorities. His knowledge of the properties and areas was impressive. He'd clearly studied the details thoroughly, had been to the homes before, and could answer specific questions about service charges, sellers, specs, and local context without hesitation. That level of preparation and expertise stood out massively compared to other agents I've dealt with in Birmingham. They often rush viewings, know very little beyond the basics, and treat buyers like just another number. Ethan was exceptionally responsive from day one. Quick replies to emails, no rushing on calls, and he even kindly drove me to multiple viewings since I don't have transport. Something most agents simply don't offer. He was warm, friendly, patient, and completely non-pushy, which made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free. It felt like he was building a real relationship rather than just chasing a commission. He's a real credit to Dixons and has made me decide to work with them as my primary agent moving forward. If you're looking for someone professional, knowledgeable, and truly client-focused, Ethan is outstanding. Highly recommended!

We were shown an apartment by Ethan Taylor who was nothing but professional and well mannered. He gave us time and space to look around the apartment aswell as answer any stupid or silly questions we had for him. After being on the hunt for a property the last couple of months, this is by far the best one we have had. The other estate agents lack basic professionalism which Ethan did not. We were very pleased with how everything went and were happy with all the information provided to us. Just went for an open viewing today at Equipoint in Yardley. Firstly, the atmosphere that the Dixons agents created was friendly and approachable. From entering the building to viewing the apartments, everything was impeccable. Secondly, I would like to thank the agents today for taking the time to really listen to me and answer any questions I had. From the moment I called in the morning to enquire about the property to attending the viewing, my questions were answered swiftly and with such kindness. I was particularly interested in flat 214 and enjoyed the amount of space and light the apartment offers. I highly recommend Dixons for anyone looking to rent!! They have made this process a lot less daunting, I really appreciate it.

I cannot recommend Ian and his team highly enough. I was at a point where I thought I was going to be unable to sell my property but then I went to Dixons and Ian agreed to market the apartment for me. The sale involved many complications and without Ian's tenacity and constant chasing of all parties I know that it would not have happened. When most estate agents would have given up Ian and the rest of the team stepped up and got things done. If you have a property to sell, particularly in Birningham city centre go and see Ian. He really is the best in the business.

Just purchased a flat as a 1st time buyer. Surya and Ian at Dixons are extremely friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Surya was very approachable and showed me a flat that was not on my list but could be potentially interested, which I actually end up buying in the end. Overall - would not recommend. After each viewing I did not receive feedback and had to constantly call to get it. When looking for updates, Andy (Branch Manager) would never call back when agreed or provide updates in a timely fashion. The solicitors they are linked to (Davison’s) are horrendous. Honestly so frustrated with Dixons. They never ever pick up the phone, they don’t respond to rightmove enquiries. It’s just super frustrating that properties I am interested in buying are being managed by dixons. If I were a seller I would be super annoyed knowing that the people supposed to help me sell my house are doing everything in their power not to sell by intentionally not responding to enquiries
