Great experience for my first time dealing with property auctions. Even though I didn’t manage to win a bid this last time in december, the team was really helpful and I’m hoping for better luck next time. Special mention to Tina, who was knowledgeable, supportive, and took the time to explain the process clearly. Tina kept everything on track and made sure there were no surprises along the way. If you’re dealing with auction properties and want someone you can trust, I highly recommend this team, and definitely ask for Tina! The team are very helpful also.

I recently purchased a property from Cottons auction. My whole experience was exceptional. I was kept in the loophole by Keisha. Andrew and his team were fair and transparent. Having dealt with a few other auctioneers in the past in my opinion Cotton’s are head and shoulder above the rest in their fees and commission and above all being fair honest and transparent. I recently moved to the area and can now actually tell how pleased i am that i found Cottons and how have been treated. I got keys quickly and when I brought up a few issues with Natasha once settled in, she got on it straight away. The first man didn't show after I spoke to him but she chased other contractors and got all my issues sorted with in a couple of weeks. Im happy and can't thank her enough, thanks again Natasha and her team at Cottons.

I have dealt with many property management companies over the last twenty years and I've never known a company who are so unprofessional. They are rude, arrogant and continually refuse to resolve issues that they say they're liable for and INSIST on using their recommended insurance company but when asked to make a claim, they just ignore emails and phone calls. AVOID at all costs if you have a choice to go with anyone else. If I could give less that 1 star I would!!

In all my years in business, I have never dealt with a company as disappointing as Cottons on so many levels. They are the management company on two of my rental properties. For 9 years they have continually avoided any liability to repair the property, respond to emails, resolve issues and generally act in a manner that I would class as honourable. I would avoid at all costs if you have the option to use this business.

I just sold a property through Cottons in their Feb 23 auction, and all went well. I was very happy with their service, and their arrangements with CBTC Solicitors made the whole transaction very straightforward. All this was achieved despite me being in South Africa at the time, so all it took was a few emails, phone calls and a courier package. I would certainly use them again.

Having struggled to sell my property and having been badly let down by other agents Cottons were a breath of fresh air. My contact, Ian Axon, was extremely honest and helpful. He suggested a very sensible guide price, made sure all the admin was dealt with correctly also recommending an excellent and effective solicitor to support the sale. As a result I achieved a sale well above the minimum guide. I wish I’d gone to Cottons to start with and happily recommend their services.

Exceptional Auction Service........ I sold my property in the Cottons auction (December 2018). The Cottons auction team have been absolutely fantastic - I want to take this opportunity to personally thank Andrew Barden, the Auctions Partner at Cottons). The property I sold was in Liverpool (Cottons are in Birmingham). Andrew Barden of Cottons drove all the way to Liverpool (from Birmingham) to conduct a market appraisal of my property and to produce a high quality video tour of my property, as well as taking a lot of photos. Andrew kept me fully appraised of progress at all times, going above and beyond what anybody would expect from an auctioneers - calls until late into the evenings to keep me fully up to date, prompt emails and calls to potential bidders and interested parties (many of which Andrew would be working on until almost 1am in the morning). The end result - I achieved quite a bit more than the the maximum guide price as Andrew Barden and his admin team worked hard to ensure that all interested parties received the information that they each needed, on time and at all times. I would highly recommend Cottons Auctioneers and Chartered Surveyors if you are looking for a first class, all around professional service. Thank you Andrew and the team for all your help. Selfish company who make up there own rules there was a trampoline in the communal garden for 10 years and had no safety net they had no problems with leaving that one up the whole time soon as I get one all hell breaks lose and now my daughter has nothing to play with my daughter has disability which is why I went out and bought her a brand new one that came with a safety net, I got told it’s do with with insurance from a neighbour but how can it be to do with insurance when the other trampoline was there for 10 years I asked so many times what is the reason they don’t give me a straight answer !!!! They just keep fobbing me of threatening me to remove it or they will and will charge my landlord !!!! Disgusting selfish people !!!

I called the cottons management team and explained I am looking to purchase a flat (probate sale) with short lease and if cottons could direct me to whom I can request an idea of the lease extension ? The reply was astonishingly confrontational and very unprofessional. I was told in a arrogant tone of voice that we can not give any details to you has you are not the owner and in order to buy a lease extension, you must have owned the flat for over 2 years ? I again politely explained that from July 24th the Leasehold reform act comes into force from 24/7/24, and one of the sections cancels the 2 year wait, however this arrogant member didn’t want to listen. I cannot believe cottons, who have been around for many years and are normally very highly regarded in the property markets could employ such people incompetent people.
