Oliver and Saqib were great throughout. My situation wasn't quite straight forward, with a tenant terminating the contract/leaving property early, due to a new job appointment, Oliver needed to liase closely with them. There were date changes and complications around when potential tenants could view. Both Oliver and Saqib managed this with pretty much no fuss or having to keep involving me. They kept me fully informed as to what was happening through regular emails and were always very professional. I have been renting properties for almost 16 years and have found these to be one of the best. I cant thank them enough.

Fraud risk

Refused to return deposit after tenancy ended, eventually complying four months later after we enacted formal action. Ignored all our calls and emails, and during the little communication I could get with them I was treated with more rudeness and dishonesty than I have ever experienced. In particular Deposits Manager Paddy and Leanne consistently treated us with the utmost contempt. Probably some sort of illegal operations behind the scenes. Avoid!

Absolutely brilliant. From start to finish. For last 18 we've tried to buy a house dealing with slow incompetent estate agents... but finally Burchell Edwards Sheldon took time and paid an intrest in us and helped us buy our lovely home... They got back to us when we asked questions. Helped us quickly source a Mortgage that was right for us and feom start to finish... beginning of February saw house ... 28th March we got the keys.... amazing guys here at this branch, helpful, honest, courteous, and on the ball all the time. We got an intermediary between us and seller too and the loveliest welcome to you're new home box on moving in... so impressed with the whole service. Thankyou all for everything! We had a couple of hiccups along the way with a buyer messing us about but Steve secured us another buyer and he did his upmost to ensure all ran as smoothly as possible and was always available for any questions we had along the way. Louise and the team at Burchell Edwards in Sheldon helped my 93 year old dad ‘Eric the Legend’ sell the house he has lived in for 66 years!! They handled the instruction very professionally and were at all times sensitive to my dad’s age and the emotional connection to the house. I have to echo other reviewer who feel like they were taken advantage of. The whole setup is a con with constant lies, dishonesty, misselling and misleading information. We felt compelled to use their in house services (conveyancing is then subcontracted out to another company but you are never made aware of this) as we were assured that this made things quicker and easier but this has not been the case. There is a huge fee to use their mortgage services and once they have this you are just a number with no attention to detail. Use a local conveyancer and mortgage broker who won't charge you exorbitant fees and will actually treat you as an individual and not a cash cow. A dozen emails have been ignored yet a query sent to the same email address about using them to sell a house was responded to same day. Clearly their priorities are just money money money with no thought to people after an offer is accepted. Our main issue is that they haven't even made sure that the property we have an offer accepted on is actually allowed to be sold. This has caused us to spend a large amount of money all due to their negligence. We have complained and the area partner Rob barely responded. He ignored me twice when I told him I was free for a call and his official response to our complaint ignored about 75% of what we raised. Some of his response was gaslighting and took no ownership of the issues at hand.

The worst out there, put us through so much drama, very stressful and mentally draining, their mortgage broker is absolutely useless, 4 months later we were declined, absolute waste of time, waste of energy, they just didn't want us to buy it for some reason, maybe because we are a different skin colour to them! Bridgefords are the worst estate agents…

Bridgefords are the worst estate agents i have ever come across, i am so glad i did not decide to sell my house with them! They never answer the calls, constantly leaving voicemails, very rarely they call you back! I viewed a property with them a week or so ago & no follow up phone call the following day, I wanted to make an offer , left several voicemails & nothing! Please avoid Bridgefords at all costs. They are the worst estate agents i have ever come across. Please stay away!
