Our experience with Rentlife Jewellery quarter Birmingham was excellent from the start in renting our lovely property in Birmingham. We want to say a big thank you to lettings manager Jaime Duffy who was very helpful and professional in helping us view and assisting our move in. We had a couple of teething maintenance issues with the property (not the agencies fault) as you would any let property but these were remedied promptly and quickly with no hassle by Jaime who kept us in the loop with all the maintenance enquiries and correspondence. We were very impressed with the level of service and honesty. Me and my family are very comfortable and happy to have chosen the agency for us. Highly recommended for professionalism and integrity. Beyond impressed by this company, especially Jaime, Cameron & Darnell who have all gone above & beyond to make this an stress-free process renting my beloved home. Jaime impressed me with her vast knowledge & professionalism - she is seriously on the ball. I cannot recommend Rent Life highly enough & really feel like they've had my best interests at heart. I’m a student and I am obviously new to the property market, a week before I found rent life my naiveness and a dishonest estate agent lost us a flat. Me and my flatmate were running out of time and had a lot of anxiety during this process. Thankfully, due to the efficiency at rent life we now have a flat to stay in to complete our studies. Special mention to our estate agent Darnell, his friendly, genuine and professional energy made us feel more comfortable than any other estate agent had. He’s been an amazing guide during this process. He made us feel at ease straight away as he his also a student but he delivered and communicated better than any other estate agent I had dealt with, and trust me there have been many (we’ve been looking since May) Darnell was very attentive, I would ring everyday with a new query and he would make sure he has the answer. All my anxiety around renting had disappeared due to his amazing customer service skills and genuine support. He deserves a promotion. Due to his empathy, professionalism and communication. She and her team gave us lots of reassurance about the cleanliness of the apartment and how it has been kept as we had no time to view it. I have had a very positive experience with rentlife and glad to have them managing the property. From my intial contact with Jaime she was extremely professional and very knowledgeable about the buy-to-let rules and regulations. She explained everything what I needed to know and took ownership from the very first day by keeping me up to date with the next steps. Courtney who visited the property identified of potential up scaling any work that needs doing. She immediately took ownership of all maintenance works, gathering quotations and with clear communication liaising with myself and tenants throughout. My experience with Barrows and Forrester's was very positive. I’ve recently moved into a 2 Bedroom apartment in Central Birmingham and the Lettings team made the whole process smooth. Jaime in particular was very responsive. She handled my telephone and email enquiries promptly. I had a few contract amendments that needed changing and it was dealt with quickly. The pre-tenancy checklist was thorough and pictures were clear. I had the keys to the apartments on Saturday. Jaime went out of her way to stay back after office hours whilst I came to collect the keys. She went above and beyond and and her customer service skills are fantastic. 5 stars!

Hunting for flats in big cities is always tiring, and too many letting agents out there care very little about service or the general experience of prospective tenants. The reviews for most letting agents in Birmingham and other big cities rarely exceed an average of 3 stars for a reason... Barrows & Forrester really are a ray of sunshine in a sector where tenants usually face stress and uncertainty until the moment the contract is finally signed. They are super responsive, well-organised, friendly and forthcoming in their communications. Our agent Sophia was incredibly professional and patient, the whole experience really couldn't have been any smoother! Since we moved in a week ago, the team at B&F (particularly Sophia and Caitlin) has been always approachable and proactive in dealing with any queries. There clearly is a reason why they are the highest-rated agent in Birmingham (at least as far as I can tell). We would recommend them to anyone looking to rent in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Worst Service and Estate agent in Birmingham - don't waste your time. I recently reserved a flat to rent with Barrows & Forrester. After the holding deposit had been paid they were impossible to get hold of. A week later they told me they had rented the property to another person. On calling them for an explanation the Lettings Manager was rude and aggressive and couldn't confirm if they would refund the deposit. Unprofessional and just a terrible experience.
