Communication is non-existent. Manners are non-existent. Invoices are refused. Clarity is lacking. Payment from tenants is incorrect and severely delayed. Adequate knowledge of the property and the changing laws is frequently not demonstrated. I can not recommend avoiding Accord enough. My experience as a landlord has been terrible so I can only imagine what tenants must experience. There are so many other letting agents to use, I would definitely recommend using literally anybody else! It would be a challenge to find any letting agent who could do a worse job!

Accord Lettings were incredibly professional and helpful, when I moved first to Birmingham a few years ago. And, were doubly so, when I had to terminate my tenancy sooner than expected this month. They handled everything with care and were incredibly reassuring during the process and quick to respond to my queries and worries. I had an amazing time with Accord Lets when looking for apartment in Birmingham. Cara was so incredible, she dedicated her time guiding my friend and I through the process and helped us find a flat that matched our criteria in such a short time. It was an astonishingly short turn around, from putting our deposit to moving in. Everyone we spoke to was super polite and professional. Would not recommend. House was stated to be deep cleaned upon arrival, however, most surfaces was covered in dust, dirty slippers and underwear under the sofas and in the wardrobe. Nothing was cleaned and they refused to clean the flat even once we moved in considering the state it was left in. Poor contact with other flat issues, agency is unable to communicate clearly with the landlord so flat issues were either not resolved or took weeks/months. Maybe this was just with me but the phone mannerisms were pretty horrible on a few calls and they were a little hostile in their tone. I know this company isnt based around customer service exactly, but it also just does and I did not enjoy the service received to the point where i would only contact them for emergencies otherwise felt pointless trying to have them rectify issues they should have resolved before i even moved in

Overall, an excellent letting agent. Shoutout to Mia that helped us through the renting process to make it smooth and quick. In general every single worker that we talked to have been professional. Every disrepair we had at the property has been consulted in less than two weeks, which is faster. Thank you to Catherine Cutts for the management of my disrepair regarding the washing machine. In a week or so we got a new replacement. Thank you!
