Elysia was great!

Elysia was brilliant. Always kept us in the loop and really helped us through the process of buying our house. We had a delay due to an old lease issue but Elysia was constantly checking in with the vendors and us and keeping us updated! Everyone we spoke to in the office was really friendly and helped as much as they could. Only thing we could say slightly negative was that the agents showing us round the house didn’t have much information on the property, but they were able to get it for us when asked.

Disappointing experience

We recently viewed a property in Bromsgrove with A P Morgan, the customer service we received was good, the agent that showed us round was polite and professional. We then submitted an offer of asking price, at which point we were advised that it would basically then go into a bidding match with others who had submitted an offer. Whilst I know this isn't a method specific to this estate agents, it is not a fair process as it comes down to whoever is willing to overpay for a property by a potentially stupid amount. We felt that it should have been encouraged by the estate agents for the sellers to review the proceedability of the buyers who offered and the time at which the offers were submitted to ensure a fair system. We then received a phone call to say our offer (first offer submitted on the property) had been rejected. That was it, no explanation of anything. On top of that, the person who called had below par telephone etiquette and sounded as though they wanted to be doing anything but taking our call. First time viewing with this estate agents and not overly impressed, to say the least.

Dan showed us around the house at our first viewing and he was so easygoing and laid back - just the approach we had wanted. Britt has been absolutely brilliant throughout the sales progression side of things. She always called when she said she would, and even if there wasn’t much of an update to offer she would still touch base with us to reassure us that everything was going smoothly.
