GoogleI've never bought a house before but I found that the estate agents seemed to be a bit lost between the vendors and buyers solicitors, with communication patchy via email and us having to make trips into the branch to get answers. We were hoping to get updates about the vendor from the estate agents but they didn't seem to be in the loop, and communication was often mainly between the two solicitors. Other than listing the property that we bought, I'm not sure what the role of the estate agent was.
Either way, I'm happy with the purchase, and the staff that we spoke to were lovely.

As per your telephone conversation with us earlier this week, we explained that due to the popularity of the property, unfortunately, whilst awaiting confirmation of viewing availability from the vendor for yourself and others, an offer from a previous viewer was made, which the vendor decided to accept. We therefore took instruction from the seller to halt any further viewings and agree the sale.
We completely understand that this was not the outcome you had hoped for, and can confirm that your details are retained on file, should the sale fall through for any reason in the near future, whereby you will be notified.
