GoogleI’m extremely disappointed with the dishonest and unprofessional conduct of this estate agent (Stuart Bock from Maidenhead). I was seriously interested in purchasing a property and was told by the agent that the seller had decided not to sell. However, I later found out that the property was in fact sold to someone else. This misleading information wasted my time and eroded my trust completely. Transparency and honesty are the bare minimum in this industry, and unfortunately, this agent failed on both counts. I would not recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable or trustworthy experience.
Dear Misha, Thank you for your review and sorry for the time it has taken for us to investigate into your comments, we have now heard back from both Stuart and the seller. The seller had taken their property off of the market in May 2025 for a week, a previous viewer had exercised their right to offer on the property as they had already seen it before and by law Stuart had to put forward the offer this within 24 hours of receiving such offer. The offer was accepted which then meant the property was re listed as sold subject to contract. Stuart had made you aware of what offer the owner would be willing to accept in order to sell the property to you but you did not want to offer that price - which is why you lost out on the property. What muddied the conversation of offers with yourself and Stuart was your husband’s call to Stuart offering him cash to secure the sale at a lower price than the seller wanted to sell for. He informed the owner of this and such both him and the owner agreed they wouldn’t be able to sell you the house - The seller has also confirmed this. Stuarts reputation and trust with his owners means everything to him and is a big part in why people use him and although he has said to us he had very pleasant viewing experiences with yourself but after the cash comments made he just cant recommend you to any seller he is protecting.

GoogleI highly recommend Tristan at Avocado. Tristan helped me to let my property on a fully managed basis. The whole process was super smooth and professionally handled with clear communication, clear documents and a smooth search for tenants. Tristan was readily available to answer any questions when ever needed. It is clear that Tristan cares about the full trifecta of (i) landlord, (ii) tenant and (iii) doing the right thing to build a socially responsible business and on that basis I would highly recommend him and Avocado.

GoogleI used Neil from Avocado to sell my house, and there was literally nothing he wouldn't do to help us get it over the line. He was very honest, yet very confident which in turn gave us a lot of confidence. He did an open house for our property based in Shinfield, and literally he sold the house in 1 day. I was so impressed that I would 100% recommend anyone to use them. I have had experiences with big chains, however Avocado really do give a more personalised service and no ask was too big. If I ever need to use or recommend you again I will 100% will.

It’s been a pretty stressful 6 months going through the process of selling our house but we did it and finally exchanged contracts today! They really aren’t like other estate agents, their approach to selling is so much more up to date and efficient we were really impressed right from the start! Mike was so proactive and professional throughout - from putting our house on the market to helping us chase the necessary people to try and speed it along as quickly as possible! FacebookCannot recommend this company highly enough. We bought through them and everything from start to finish was handled exceptionally. They made the whole experience about us from the outset. Questions were answered when we asked. Issues were resolved as they appeared. Out of hours queries were dealt with promptly. All in all the whole experience was handled without any stress for us. If you want to be treated respectfully and as a person not a commission then this estate agent is for you. Thank you Mike.

FacebookAfter spending over a year dealing with various estate agents trying to find our dream home, we came across avocado property, with the lovely Ian and mike. From the beginning we found they understood exactly what we were looking for and the first property they found us we knew instantly was our home. We viewed it, put an offer in and moved in months later amidst the global pandemic! Everything went so smoothly dealing with Avocado property in comparison to other estate agents. We felt a huge sense of trust and comfort with the company and didnt find ourselves continually nagging to get responses and updates. Avocado Property really are the estate agents without the bulls**t.

FacebookFrom the get-go, Ian was friendly, upfront and professional. The photos and video taken by Ian and produced by Avocado was clear and bright and showed off our house to its fullest. The house was sold within 6-8 weeks. Every viewing was orchestrated and carried out with Ian himself bringing potential buyers to the house. Would we go anywhere else in the future? Not a chance. Would we use Avocado again? Absolutely. 100% Recommended.

GoogleWe have been dealing with Mike from Avocado Property with our house sale. To say that there was some delay and drama along the way is an under statement, but Mike ploughed forward through the ups and downs. He worked tirelessly to ensure that we finally got our sale. Nothing was too much for him and I started to feel that he was like a personal friend as I know how much time and effort he put into our sale, way over and above what you would expect from another estate agent. He was the voice for us, with all of the solicitors, buyers, sellers, other estate agents in the chain and I couldn't fault him at all. Genuinely a lovely guy and a real hard worker.
