Worst estate agents in the country , dealt with barking-side office . And was gobsmacked to see how they do business , mortgage broker and manager does doggy dealings . Doesn’t have the sellers best interest at at heart . Only care about how much more cash they can make . Avoid at all costs , the broker Faisal , out right said to me give me cash to get house.

Great Experience

Jess, James and Kaitlin were brilliant. They provided us with a lot of information from the start, clear communication throughout and also the portal is great to track your viewings, offers, feedback etc. They were very knowledgeae about the market and even helped us by letting us know about other properties that were coming onto the market that could be a fit for us. Fee is on the high side compared to other agents but going with a cheap option isn't always the best idea as we found out prior to working with Douglas Allen.

Terrible experience with the team in Billericay. Was told by Douglas Allen to go with their in house solicitor to have a much better chance of owning the property they had advertised (apparently this was what sellers wanted) They make you pay an up front fee as well without having offer accepted. Have spoken to many other estate agents since who said this is not acceptable. Will definitely avoid next time!

Great Service through many challenges

We have rented our bungalow out via Douglas Allan, due to covid-19 we did think things would become difficult but Joanna Alexis kept us informed at all times. She found us a great tenant, and ensured everything was sorted in a timely fashion. We received our payment within a couple of days via bank transfer (which is much better than other estate agents who I have used in the past, who used to send me a cheque). Helpful, friendly and informative!

When I got to view the property on Bede Road initially, I wasn't interested as such as I felt it's a property that has a lot of demand and I felt like with the competition I would not be able to win the property. I spoke to Waqas after the viewing and he suggested the VIP home finder service to me, a service where I could get into see properties before they hit the online market and he suggested to meet Faisal Noor, the in house mortgage adviser, once I became a member of the VIP service and saw Faisal to work out my maximum affordability, I made an offer on the property and it got accepted the very same day! Chadwell Heath Branch - excellent!From the time we met Michelle we felt we could just relax and let her and her team get on with the sale of our house. We had been with another agency and basically wasted the whole summer. In 3 days Michelle and the Chadwell Heath team booked in 60 viewings for the open day, then sent round 2 agents to greet the viewers while we left them to it. It was amazing, we walked away seeing queues of interested buyers on our drive. We love the online service, you can see the offers coming in and they certainly did, for the asking price and more. Our house sold to a buyer from the open day, basically 3 days to sell it. The team continue to help with regular weekly updates on each stage of the sale process. My husband and I cant thank Douglas Allen enough, every one was so helpful, I admit to finding the whole process a bit stressful, however with people such as the wonderful Chelsea Baldwin on your side things were a lot easier. Rude and pushy staff

Dealt with the Saturday team Spencer and Alastair today. Wasted my time in bringing me in to tell me someone had put in an offer of the property I was interested. Rude and Pushy overall wasn’t interesting in showing me property’s unless I went with their mortgage adviser.Think this reply is absolutely ridiculous. There was no need to liar in order to bring in to your office, how does this have a ‘friendly approach’ when your staff are blunt and rude? No other agencies needed to find out if I am in a strong position, as I already had a mortgage in principal set up. This just show how unprofessional and inexperienced your company is!!

After 7 months without a real offer on my house sale I thought changing Estate agents would do little. Steve Ford, came, he saw, he sold! He came well prepared with all the information to back up his claims to make a sale and to make the very best representation of my property. The property photos or the board never got out, they sold it the same day.Steve has the backing of a good network and excellent team members - sales manager khaleesha Said-Loveday has been an excellent and diligent support throughout the process.
