The employees are friendly and professional. We had to reduce the asking price substantially from the initial valuation which was disappointing and, whilst appreciate the market was difficult, it seemed to be the only suggestion to move things forward. Our main reason for providing a lower star rating is due to the recommended panel solicitors (rather than the estate agent themselves). If I could provide a star rating for the panel solicitors alone it would be a minus!! We have no concerns with recommending Haart but we would strongly advise to seek and use your own conveyancing Solicitors. Going through the legal process was the most unnecessarily stressful experience we have ever had with a home move, and the work involved on our side was like having a second job. However, I would give huge thanks/kudos to Deborah at Haart who was instrumental in chasing all the respective panel solicitors in the chain at the end of the process to finally get things over the line (very close to the chain falling down). Haart were friendly and professional throughout.

Started off well but soon turned sour. Sadly I had to sell my family home after losing my dad to cancer. My mum who has late stages of young onset dementia now lives in a care home. The sale of the property was needed to pay the high care home fees. With a complicated sale the pressure was applied. I was told by Haart that if I didn't work faster to get the court papers together then I will responsible for someone in the chain being homeless. Just what I needed to add to my stress. (May I add, I could not hurry up a Judge working for the court of protection - but I was making regular contact throughout the year to push it along). Imagine having to explain over and over again that you dad has died, your mum has dementia and I need to sell my family home - so absolutely heart breaking, words cannot describe. I was told to rent the house out that person which will save the sale but was given zero guidance of how to go about it. I opted not to as it could open me up to even more stress if this tenant caused problems. The emails from Haart were short and impolite, calls were frantic. The whole experience made me feel so incredibly stressed during the saddest time of my life. The sale completed in December and I hadn't heard from Matthew since July and never again since. What a caring service they provide...NOT. My advice - avoid at all costs.NegativeProfessionalism
