Disappointing experience with RMJ

Disappointing experience with RMJ. They introduced buyers, but I felt I had to drive negotiations and challenge their advice to achieve the price I wanted. My complaint was met with a response I found dismissive. For £5,100, I expected better advice and support. I wouldn’t use them again. I’m also unable to leave a google review as it’s being reported by the agency. Their google reviews are heavily sanitised and they’re abusing the system to skew their rating. Incredibly poor.

Excellent estate agents

We recently bought a house through the Belvedere branch of Robinson Jackson. The sales team were very accommodating, showing and reshowing the house to us and their sales negotiators, especially Charlie Greenway, were excellent at promptly answering all our questions (even the possibility daft ones). It was a smoth transaction and tgey even negotiated to move up the move-in date by a few weekd. Overall, I would highly recommend Robinson Jackson as estate agents.

Booked a viewing with them via Rightmove which I later cancelled, but then they start spamming me with email marketing. Seems like they use a different employees email each time to get around the fact I have tried to both unsubscribe and block their email addresses multiple times but these emails still make it into my main inbox. Would advise against giving your contact details if you don’t want to be bombarded with emails.

I used this agency to sell my property

I used this agency to sell my property, and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I felt I was persuaded to reduce the asking price without sufficient justification, which ultimately did not work in my best interest. Communication throughout the process was generally good, but good communication alone is not enough. I was under the impression that the buyer had the financial means to complete the purchase, only to later discover that they first needed to sell their own property because they did not have the funds for the deposit. This was not made clear to me from the beginning. The fees are high, as expected from a typical high street estate agency, but in my opinion the level of service does not justify the cost. The transaction was also unnecessarily delayed, resulting in a loss of both time and money. That said, there are members of the team who are professional and genuinely helpful, and I appreciate their efforts. Despite the delays and the challenges throughout the process, the sale was eventually completed. Would I use this agency again? Probably not.
