Really disappointed

Really disappointed with my experience, I found my dream house, put an offer in but unfortunately the seller went with a higher offer. I got a call a couple or so weeks later from the estate agent who shared the property may be going back on market unless my offer still stood, I was so excited as this was my dream house, I shared that my offer still stands. I then got an email from Beercocks congratulating me, my offer had been accepted and requesting documents as soon as possible, I sent these documents by the end of the day and contacted my solicitor to share the good news and finished my mortgage deal. I then get a call within the next 2 days telling me there may be a problem with the seller and they would get back to me as soon as they could. A couple of days after that the estate agent called me to share that the buyer is now waiting on the original buyers to resolve their issue. Its been nearly 3 weeks and still no update from estate agent. To have them contact me, raise my hopes, accept my offer, I send everything they want, then leave me like this for nearly 3 weeks with no update on what is going on. I think that is poor customer service and think it is rather cruel leaving people in limbo like this. On reflection, I know it is not the estate agent fault that the seller is playing with peoples lives like this but I feel it is not right to formally accept a persons offer, professionals are instructed to act, begin searches etc then your just cast aside by the seller, tighter more fairer rules on this need to be implemented.

House Valuation

I booked a valuation of one of my rented out properties through three estate agents one of them being Beercocks of Hedon.The delightful Georgina of Beercocks had organised the valuation within 10 min of me being in the office, and everything was done within a week. She gave me a courtesy call two weeks later to check on all the details I had received and if I was happy. Everything I asked of Georgina, she did in the timelines required. Unfortunately the other two companies let me down on various things... So thankyou Beercocks and thankyou Georgina.. Great job😊

Excellent service and lightening fast sale.

Henry visited the house on Wednesday and advised on how we should market the property. Following his advice the details were sent to clients on Beecocks books, viewings were arranged over the Easter Bank Holiday. This led to 7 offers on the house and the sale was agreed on the Tuesday. Now just 7 weeks later we have completed. Both Jess and Danielle should be commended for their helpful and friendly service, keeping me informed and liaising with the buyer and the solicitors throughout. I would certainly use Beercocks again.

Sutton Park properties with Amy

Unfortunately neither property was suitable and we didn't particularly like the area. Amy asked for more details of our particular requirements and did a search for more suitable properties.

Nicky Moss in the Sales Progression Team is an absolute asset to Beercocks. Her experience, professionalism, understanding, and her approachable personality made the whole experience so comforting and supportive. She really did go the extra mile to help with our chain, relentlessly chasing solicitors to meet a deadline. Anytime I have made contact or have been contacted by Beercocks I have been impressed with their service. Always a full 10/10 from me. 1st property I bought from them in 2017. Couldn’t be happier with Beercocks and their team!! Absolutely seamless from start to finish! What I really liked about beercocks is that they are family orientated and so understanding! The marketing of our property

The marketing of our property - we had a number of viewers who commented on how our house and garden looked better and bigger than on the photos, I suppose this was better than being disappointed by false pictures of stretched rooms etc but on the other hand, how many had been put off by the pictures?Sale negotiations - We were encouraged to accept an offer £2500 less than what we sold for, being told that it would be their job to negotiate that extra off our next property. We stuck to our guns on the offer price we wanted and received our full asking price.Sales progression team - In all honestly the sales progression team were good but I feel there may be room for slight improvements.At times my husband and I felt like it was our buyers paying the end bill and not ourselves.Having dealt with the sales progression team of another estate agent, one feature I liked is that they would request and email weekly updates from both our solicitor and that of who we were buying off. The information was very up to date and useful.

We are a week into our experience with Beercocks and so far they have been fantastic. They came out really quickly and at a time suitable to us to take the pictures. The house went on the pre market to those on their books looking for properties in the area and sold before even going onto rightmove. They were so efficient and responded to me via phone or email almost immediately. I would 100% use them in the future and couldn't thank them enough!
