Donna’s role of ‘sales progressor’ is unique and hugely beneficial for all parties, as a direct liaison between buyer, seller, and conveyancers, Donna accelerated the flow of information and made the whole process seamless. GoogleWe were very happy with the way Oakleys handled the sale of our property, from the initial meetings to set up the sale through the process of viewings and sales progression to completion. Everyone on the team was very proactive and kept us well informed as things moved on. Their dedicated sales progressor Donna in particular was always on the front foot liaising with the solicitors and estate agents throughout the chain to keep things moving. Well done!

GoogleWhole process went very smoothly. We used Oakleys to both sell our property and purchase the new one. Michael was very helpful throughout and offered support as and when needed. The office staff were also very helpful and efficient and listened to my queries and issues as they arose. We hadn't moved for 40 years and they helped us get through this stressful period.

GoogleWe are so indebted to Michael and the whole Oakley's team regarding the sales of our house. Michael's valuation estimate elwas spot on, the marketing and price strategy very effective and the house was sold within on week. Beyond that Michael was amazing to deal with, always there to answer questions and any concerns and give us advice that put us at ease at every step of the way. He also was instrumental in our follow-on purchase, which he didn't need to do, but no doubt that we wouldn't have been able to buy our new house without Michael and Oakley's, in addition to us selling our home. GoogleI have dealt with many Estate Agents in my life and career and a lot could be termed 'House Sellers' and there for the best fee they get for themselves !!! After all 1% of say a £20k drop in sale price is only £200 to them BUT £20,000 to the seller ! Oakley's achieved the price we agreed in a very difficult market in a communicative, professional manner. I was very pleased and would recommend to any vendor in the Berkhamsted area.

GoogleWe sold our mothers property through Oakleys in Autumn 2024 following her move into a carehome. Oakley’s were recommended to us by a family friend. We looked at other agents but after speaking with Michael several times were confident that Oakleys approach was right for us and appointed sole agency. Although we had quite a journey, the Oakley’s team were super at navigating the hurdles, were efficient with marketing and engaging potential buyers, keeping us fully informed throughout the process. With their professionalism, yet friendly advice, there was a real sense of the Oakleys team working with and for us. Can’t thank them enough for getting the sale completed. GoogleWe couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Oakleys! The valuation was spot on and the advice from Michael was sensible, down to earth and reliable. All the ladies who showed our home had taken the trouble to arrive early and ask pertinent questions and they were all enthusiastic, encouraging and complimentary. We really felt they were actively selling our house rather than just standing there whilst people viewed it. Donna, who deals with post offer matters was always available, unfailingly unflappable and a really huge help to us. His strategy was successful! The progression team had to navigate some difficult and awkward issues during the sale, but they did so with professionalism and were always friendly and helpful, and their experience and advice were invaluable. GoogleBy far the most trustworthy estate agents in Berkhamsted. Michael gave us endless honest advice. Their photographer and videographer are excellent. After a very poor experience with another local agent he and the Oakleys team restored our confidence in the selling process. The agents who showed prospective buyers around were polite, enthusiastic and invested. They took the time to get to know the house before people arrived. We really appreciated this as we went on so many viewings with other agents who knew very little about the properties we were looking around. When we had a buyer, Donna was amazing in progressing the sale. She kept us regularly informed with a call every Friday. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Oakleys. They are the friendliest and most honest property company in town.

GoogleOakley's have handled a few sales for me over the years (and one or two purchases and lettings) and they have been consistently excellent. Let's be honest, if you are selling your house you want to get the best price possible with the minimum of fuss, and this is what Michael and his team do consistently well. IMO, being owner managed is a fundamental reason for this, and specifically their approach to marketing, negotiation and sales progression I believe is second to none. There is a reason why they have been on the high street for so long whilst many others have come and gone around them, and that is because they are great at what they do! I would not hesitate to use them again 😊
