We bought our house through Oakleys, and they were fab! Despite there being few complications along the way, everyone was extremely kind, patient and friendly. Gemma and Victoria were our go to people, along with the progressor Donna. Oakleys as a great team that all work together to go that extra mile. We had a few agents in the past year that just never returned our calls, this would be unheard of from Oakleys, they are extremely responsive and reliable! UPDATE: Our house sale went through perfectly. Donna was great at letting us know where we were in the process and if there was anything we needed to do. Everything went through so smoothly and we completed in August. Very happy clients 😊 We’re still early in the process but Oakleys have been amazing so far. Not pushy at all. We had to arrange the sale of my mother’s house in Berkhamsted when she moved on to a care home. The first time we met the sales team at Oakleys we felt confident that Oakleys was the estate agents we wanted to use over many of the other ones in Berkhamsted. Gemma was very helpful and arranged to see my mums house on the same day. The particulars and photographs were drawn up very quickly and we were able to market the property rapidly. We are so indebted to Michael and the whole Oakley's team regarding the sales of our house. Michael's valuation estimate elwas spot on, the marketing and price strategy very effective and the house was sold within on week. Beyond that Michael was amazing to deal with, always there to answer questions and any concerns and give us advice that put us at ease at every step of the way. He also was instrumental in our follow-on purchase, which he didn't need to do, but no doubt that we wouldn't have been able to buy our new house without Michael and Oakley's, in addition to us selling our home. By far the most trustworthy estate agents in Berkhamsted. Michael gave us endless honest advice. Their photographer and videographer are excellent. After a very poor experience with another local agent he and the Oakleys team restored our confidence in the selling process. The agents who showed prospective buyers around were polite, enthusiastic and invested. They took the time to get to know the house before people arrived. We really appreciated this as we went on so many viewings with other agents who knew very little about the properties we were looking around. Oakley's have handled a few sales for me over the years (and one or two purchases and lettings) and they have been consistently excellent. Let's be honest, if you are selling your house you want to get the best price possible with the minimum of fuss, and this is what Michael and his team do consistently well. IMO, being owner managed is a fundamental reason for this, and specifically their approach to marketing, negotiation and sales progression I believe is second to none. There is a reason why they have been on the high street for so long whilst many others have come and gone around them, and that is because they are great at what they do!
