GoogleNot only did Chris, Alex and team help us to find our new home (which in itself was an almost impossible task!) but their professional yet reassuring manner made the entire selling/buying/moving process painless and stress free. We can not recommend Fine & Country Berkhamsted highly enough. Selling and buying homes is a precarious and daunting time but we got lucky when we called Fine & Country, thank you so much.

GoogleI found all the staff at Fine & Country extremely helpful with the sale of my house. They always kept me up to date with viewings and progress once my house was under offer. Alex made the whole process stress free which meant from start to finish the house was sold very quickly with any problems smoothed out by Alex and Chris. I can thoroughly recommend them as an Estate Agent

BUT as she is the accountant to Fine & Country Berkhamsted and her husband is a co-director of a company of which Jan Foo is also a director, ask yourself the question: Is this review an objective, impartial and unbias opinion or an obvious piece of marketing by a friend and business associate? Not a particularly useful review in my opinion.

Frightening and traumatic experience: When I got back to Brocco on the Park, a Fine and Country hotel, at 1.30am, sober, after attending a 50th (the reason for my stay) the door was locked. No one answered the phone, nor my knocking at the door, or the doorbell. After many panicked attempts, including calling my husband and waking him up to ask for help, I called my friends whose party it was and got a cab across town to sleep on their sofa. I had very little sleep. At least I had somewhere to go. The hotel had a night porter, but he must have been sleeping on the job. Also they were supposed to give me a code for the door, which they did not do. I was cold, tired and afraid to be stranded on my own in the middle of the night. My essential medications along with the rest of my carefully packed belongings were in the room.

GoogleAlex at Fine & Country was a joy to deal with throughout our whole buying process. It was a long and complicated chain and there were several tense moments but she kept everything moving and went above and beyond to keep us informed and make sure everything went through in time. She was always friendly, positive, honest, and incredibly proactive - she made a very stressful time much more manageable for us. We have had less than positive experiences with estate agents in the past but we certainly were able to rebuild the trust during our experience with Fine and Country and in particular, with Alex.
