GoogleWe have recently completed on the sale of a house and the purchase of another through Bowes Mitchell, Benton Road. Everyone is very friendly, professional and clearly are very experienced at what they do.
From valuation and photographs, (Claire did a fantastic job!), all the way through to completion we were always kept up to date.
We couldn't be happier with the service we have received and happily recommend them to others. Should we decide to sell again we will definitely be using Bowes Mitchell at Benton Road.

GoogleHaving just handed the keys back from a house we rented for two years where Bowes Mitchell in Benton, Newcastle Upon Tyne were the lettings agents, I felt it necessary to comment on how Bowes Mitchell have performed from beginning to end. From day one, they have been courteous, friendly and so helpful, nothing was a problem and if we had any issues whatsoever, they would act on it immediately. Having never rented a propoerty before we were slightly nervous of the process but Bowes Mitchell were always a phone call away and made the journey a very pleasant one. I would wholeheartedly recommend Bowes Mitchell to anyone interested in renting or buying a property in the future, you will not regret it, we certainly didnt !! They deserve every one of those five stars !!

GoogleWhat can I say to truly reflect the gratitude I have for Claire , Lyn , Michael and all the staff at Bowes Mitchell for helping myself and the wife move into our dream property which we thought was never going to happen due to a supposed lack of interest in the property we had to sell first.
We had tried 4 different estate agents over a 12 month period without any success which according to them was due to properties in this price bracket not moving.
Well I’m sorry but they were wrong ? , along comes Clair and the Bowes Mitchell team and I’m not exaggerating here we had an offer within 24 hours of putting the property up with Clair for the full asking price and all went through without any hitches.
The saying “you have tried the rest now try the best “ is so true here.
I just wish I had tried the best first, thanks Clair and all the team .

GoogleWe owned an apartment in Benton which we rented out through Bowes Mitchell for around ten years. The service from BM was fantastic from finding tenants to managing the property. Any problems requiring minor repairs or visits to the property for other reasons were dealt with promptly and efficiently.
Our rental agent Claire was brilliant : approachable, friendly and very efficient as were all the other staff in the Benton Office.
In May this year we put the apartment up for sale and by July we had a buyer at not much below the asking price due to the negotiation powers of the team. The the sale was completed this month. Once again many thanks to Michael and the sales team including Christine, Clare and all of the other staff at Benton, a great team which BM can be very proud of.
In the event that we need an Estate Agent in future Bowes Mitchell will be THE ONE !!

GoogleTwo things you'd want from an estate agent - someone who knows their stuff and who will go out of their way to fight your corner. One thing you DO NOT want is to be treated like a coloured pin on a map ready to be chalked off as another commission earned!
In Clare Messner, you have the first; in the sales director you have the second. The latter put me on speaker phone while he packed up at the end of the day, akin to the thing you have on both sides of a door; begins with a K.
Clare lost sleep because she left my lights on after a viewing. That's the kind of agent you want - someone who cares! And Clare knows her stuff, having been around a bit (!!) and she has that rarest of qualities among estate agents (and solicitors) - HONESTY. She will fight you corner, even if the opponent is a demented, money-grabbing ex!
So, if you are after an estate agent who will get you what you want, talk straight to you and treat you like a human being, Clare is the one you should ask for. If the Sales Director answers the phone, put him on speaker and then hang up!
