There is no ‘I’ in team

There is no ‘I’ in team which the Freshwater office demonstrated in helping us with our recent purchase. All members of staff were able to assist us through a prolonged house move knowing who to contact when we asked questions and were readily available to give us support when various processes appeared to be slower than anticipated. Thank you all so much in helping us achieve our goal.However, despite stating this special mention must be given to David, our link person, for his calm and reassuring nature.

A wonderfully impressive team that go above & beyond.

A wonderfully impressive team that went above and beyond - they were personable, knowledgeable, professional and ensured a seamless and positive experience from start to finish and even after we were given the keys to our new home. Tracey had taken the time to know what sort of house we wanted and where, which lead to her notifying us as soon as our now home came to market - we will be forever grateful. Debbie was so helpful in letting us view the property twice and accommodating the times we were on the island. Hannah was so friendly and professional keeping us informed every step of the way and responding in such a positive and open manner to every email and phone call we made. Far more than just an agent

Buying a waterfront property on the Isle of Wight was a long road, and there were moments when it felt like it might not come together. Duncan Willard stayed with us every step of the way, working hard to get the best possible result for his client and never letting up when things got difficult. What made the real difference, though, was how much he gave beyond the deal itself: advice on comparable properties, local suppliers, and everything we needed to understand to make the purchase work in practice. He didn't have to do any of that. He just did. Genuinely one of those rare agents who leaves you feeling looked after rather than just sold to. Couldn't recommend him more highly.

A cut above the rest

So pleased was I with the communication and service of Philip Weeks at Spence Willard, that I feel the need to leave a review stating just how good he is, and by proxy Spence Willard have been. These were not even our own agent, but the agent at the top of the chain in our buying experience. After months of chasing for updates with the various agents and solicitors involved, I was finally put into contact with Mr Weeks at Spence Willard, and immediately we gained some clarity on our ongoing and frustrating situation. The whole time dealing with Mr Weeks was an absolute pleasure and I can't recommend him and his professionalism enough. If every person within the purchase of a house was as good as him, the whole buying and selling of a house would be so much less stressful!

Due to previous buyer personal circumstances, it was third time lucky for us and we noted Emma’s empathy and professionalism towards them, as well as her tenacity and commitment to achieve a sale for us. Exceptional service from Freshwater branch

We purchased a property through Spence Willard's Freshwater office and dealt with Jason who was wonderful! We had not bought for quite a number of years and he was so helpful guiding us through each step and taking the time to liase with the sellers on any queries we had. He even called round to help us with hot water issues the day after we had moved in! We couldn't rate Jason highly enough and would definitely use his services again in the highly unlikely event that we should feel the need to move again.

Professional, transparent and thorough

A transparent, professional and common sense approach made a very complex transaction far less stressful than it might otherwise have been. We really appreciated Emma's efforts throughout the nine month process - and always felt that Spence Willard were fair and thorough in all their dealings with both parties. I have previously sold a property through SW and knew they were entirely honest and straightforward in their dealings with vendors and purchasers alike. I also rented with them for a six month period between house sale/purchase, for which I used their Yarmouth office, and the process was great for that too. We would highly recommend Spence Willard as your "go to" agent for the Isle of Wight.

Very professional and helpful..

I’ve directly or indirectly been involved with four purchases and one rental with SW and they’ve always been balanced, professional and helpful. I’ve never experienced negative issues typical of other estate agents and always felt they were acting in the joint interest of the buyer and seller as far as they are able. They’ve been prompt and proactive in answering the many queries I’ve had, putting forward both pros and cons of issues or opportunities.
