I recently sold a Tenanted property through Reeds Rains Bamber Bridge.Not an easy sale to conduct as the Tenant was staying in place, Alison never gave up and eventually found the perfect purchaser to take the house and tenant, great communicator and very professional throughout.I will be going back with a second sale shortly for Alison to deal with.

Buyers Beware!!As a new customer looking to buy, the first contact was not very great. Rude attitude and no phone manners let alone customer service skills. Sellers have entrusted you to sell a house, you have charged a fee for this service so deliver that. I have both bought and sold homes before and spoken with many agents in my time but this by far-left a bitter taste in my mouth. I will never understand this so call level of prestige some agents seem to think they have over people. Every enquire should be dealt with the same level of care and respect.I will be sure to never use you to sell my next house if you service the area .

The worst agency I dealt with honestly. First, they make the procedure smooth and easy for obtaining a property, and after you pay the holding deposit they make it more difficult for you with many unconvincing requests and for unknown reasons. I hope that the company consider hiring people with higher qualifications in dealing with the customer, keeping promises and sticking to the dates of the expected calls.

An appointment was arranged for an agent to view my home to give me a valuation. The viewing was cancelled due to a circumstance to which I accepted but the agent said he'd ring me the next day to give me a valuation over the phone. A week on and I never received the call. If he couldn't contact me then surely the professional thing to do is to pass the job to someone else. So I shall not be using Reeds Rains in the future.

Avoid! Whether you are a buyer or seller, don't waste your time, effort and money!Booked a viewing to find the estate agent knew very little about the property. Promised to get back to me the following day with answers to questions we asked... nothing. Until just under a week later when they rang for feedback on the property. When advised we are awaiting a response to our questions (which the lady seemed oblivious to) and that this service is not good enough, they blamed the owner of the property for not getting back to them and advised they would get back to us again... yet we are still waiting. Turns out we viewed a friend of a friends house and they wasn't even aware of the viewing (house was unoccupied), let alone the questions! (Preston branch)

Do not I repeat do not use this agent! Alison Sidney based in Walderslade has totally given false information on a regular basis on renting a property. She was happy to take £288 holding deposit yet still carried on letting other clients view the property. My son gave all information requested including a guarantor and still she mis lead us into believing that my son and his partner would be moving into the house. This agent lies and takes deposits misleading people totally - stay clear and go with a reputation agent - not this bunch of shafters!

Reeds Raids in Preston... Absolutely awful. DO NOT USE. Never told us about any of our viewings. Organised an open house and turned up 15 minutes late with various different viewers waiting on the doorstep. Turned up late on several Other occasions and after we sold the house did not contact us once. On the day of completion when they were suppose to meet the buyers with the keys they never called us once and we had to hand over the keys ourselves.

Fed up of being constantly ignored by this company. Have emailed them directly, through their website, through RightMove, called them, left voicemails and left my contact details with an employee where I was promised a call back. So far I've not been contacted (not even a courtesy "we're sorry it's taking so long but we'll get back to you") and have lost hope I'll be able to successfully view the property I want.If this is what they're like to deal with trying to arrange a viewing for a property, I dread to think how inefficient they'd be to complete the purchase.

TrustpilotSalford Quays - Lies and so unhelpful
Simply wanted to view a 1-bed apartment in the Salford Quays area. Initially arranged well enough, then the appointment was cancelled by the agent (agent said the property was having work done) but when I emailed back he had in truth simply taken the day off and clearly cancelled his appointments to facilitate this. Re booked for a later date and time (chosen by the agent who subsequently wouldn't even be flexible enough to move this by 30 mins as it conflicted with another appointment I had. Then just before the 2nd appointment he advised me by email that someone else had already taken the property so the 2nd appointment never even happened. How someone else let the apartment when the workmen were apparently there preventing viewings remains a mystery?Finally to add insult to injury the same apartment is (a full week later now) still advertised on both Right Move and their own website as still being currently not let! God help the poor landlord depending on getting this rented out in the current market conditions waiting for these people to be bothered to actually show the place to someone...appalling!
