I recently sold my property through Reeds Rains Ballyhackamore and would I highly recommend their service. I found the staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They guided me through the whole process with expertise and I always felt supported and informed. The promotional brochure and photographs of my property Reeds Rains produced was excellent and my property was promoted through a strong online presence. I had an offer on the property very quickly, although the sale itself took time, but I was always kept informed with a successful sale in the end.

Excellent Service with one Criticism

Still at the early stages of the process but I cannot fault the attention and courtesy shown by all staff that I have seen and spoken to. If there is any criticism I can make it would be the fixed price fee of the agent. If I could explain further, I wanted to handle all viewings but there was no reduction of the fee offered knowing that the cost to them for handling the viewing would incur agent’s time and fuel which would be a saving to them.

Not quite a good experience

We rented through this agency, and even though some of the employees are nice, there are some that are very bad-mannered also.The keys were kept even though the landlord gave the okay 5 hours ahead. The keys were not handed at the property but at the agency.The landlord requested for the agency to submit meeters and a contract, but neither was handed in.In the end, the landlord cut the collaboration for the property off too.

Cancelled utilities

Our landlord decided to change from Reeds Rains to a local agent. Reeds managed to mistakenly inform the utility companies that we had moved out so they tried to cancel our accounts. We were nearly left with no electricity or water. Utterly unapologetic when asked about it. They have been useless in the 10 years we’ve been renting through them, thank goodness our landlord is great.

Can not give 0 stars. Castleford branch reeds rain’s absolutely shocking. Paid a Fully managed service and house after letting was a disgrace and damaged. No help. Don’t reply to calls or emails. No respect for customers. No respect for property. I would not let them manage a Wendy house. Incompetent.
