GoogleAbsolutely fantastic estate agents. There is always a friendly and helpful member of staff to answer the phone and we've been extremely pleased with the high quality of service they provide. We moved into our rental property last week and had made them aware of a few minor repairs, they quickly sent someone round to fix things the next day, and made solid plans to have all our minor issues sorted in the next week. Cannot recommend enough.

GoogleBe cautious if renting through Property Link. The property was not very clean when I moved in, and at the end of my tenancy they tried to make unfair deductions from my deposit. I successfully disputed this through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and won, unsurprisingly. Strangely enough, when I tried to resolve the issues directly with them, they listed countless supposed problems, but when it came to providing evidence to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme they produced nothing. Future tenants should keep good records and be prepared to challenge unfair deductions.

GoogleI am writing as a current tenant so would update on leaving if anything changes, but so far working with Ryan at Property Link NI has been wonderful. As people moving here from out of town, he was incredibly helpful in helping us find a place that met our needs which was especially difficult as people with a pet. He was very thorough in the move-in inventory and has been very quick to get back to us and find solutions when any issues have arisen. He has also been helpful in letting us know our rights as tenants throughout the process as well as answering questions we have about items like recycle pick up and utility set-up. Thanks for helping us find our new home, Ryan!

GoogleRented house off estate agents. House was shockingly dirt for moving into the house and kitchen required cleaning from top to bottom. When oven broke, took 1 month to get a new one installed. When moving out, house was left in better condition than received but tried to take full deposit for cleaning costs. Avoid estate agents

GoogleThis review is not to impress someone or mislead to others. I am with Property Link say more than 17 years and there were times when I could not do without the much needed help from Barry C, Sophie Maxwell, Lisa Compton and Sarah. As a land lord sometimes you get frustrated when things do no go right But they are very caring, professional and very efficient People they listen, understand and resolve.
They understand the landlords limits and tenants needs and they do their best to deal with the situation. They are only a phone call away when you need them. They come out with brilliant solutions in complex situations.
I was so satisfied with the services I even introduced my son in law now they are also managing a property for him.
I am retired now and may invest in property in future but not without Property Link.
Property Link is a solid link between Landlords and Tenants .
There are hundreds of Property Management people out there who wants your business but very few are genuine and caring.
Landlords my advice is if you are thinking of managing your property think about Property Link. No regrets.
Thanks
Take care

GoogleI have been viewing houses with Property Link over the past month and have to say it is one of the best services I've been with. Kathleen has brought me around many houses, answering all my questions about the places. They have kept in constant contact with me and made submitting an application as a student remarkably easy and even helped me through the process when I was unsure about somethings.
One of the best Estate Agencies and Estate Agent I have had the pleasure of looking for houses with and highly recommend using.

GoogleMe and my girlfriend had viewed a house in empire parade and having been mortgage approved we had bidded £1000 more than the asking price of £75000 as someone had already bidded the asking price. All was good and the agent sayed he would let us know how things were standing in a few days. We waited and waited and no call so the following week we had phoned and "just missed" the agent. The receptionist sayed she couldnt disclose the current offers on the house and that we would have to call back. We waited a few more days and still nothing so we called on the 4th September to be told the agent wasnt available to speak, again we were told they couldnt update us on the current bid for the house and would have to call back. So feeling that we hit a brick wall we decided to continue looking for a suitable house and happen to come across the house in empire parade which had been sale agreed. I immediately phoned and asked if i could speak to the agent and once again he had just left the building. I asked if i could be told the price in which the house was sold and the receptionist who couldnt before told me that the house had been sold for the asking price of £75000. We are only new to this and this was a big step up for us as a couple and getting a mortgage but the way we were treated was shocking! This is a disgrace and the company should be ashamed to have agents like thay working for them.

GoogleEasily the worst estate agent I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
We bought a house via this agent. James organised our viewing 10 minutes before another man came to view the house, and rushed us through the whole viewing. Apparently the other man was having a 2nd or 3rd viewing, if he even existed.
James was almost non-communicative during the bidding process, which took 6 weeks until we finally outbid the other bidder (who again, may not have existed) and offered a price the vendor was happy with. At sale agreed, we were suddenly informed that the vendor would be on holiday for 3 months, leaving us wondering why he couldn't have sped up the process to get things done before then. As it is, 4 months later we are now moving house with a 2 week old baby. This could have been avoided, and we could have moved while 7 months pregnant instead, if Property Link had bothered to reply to any emails or keep us updated on the vendor's response to our offers.
While viewing the house after reaching sale agreed, we noticed that previous tenants in the house had left all the bins outside the house full, and the kitchen bin was also full of beer bottles. Many cupboards were not cleaned properly and there were dirty socks left in inexplicable areas of the house. Property Link is also the letting agent for the house. I am fully confident that Property Link fined these tenants for not cleaning up properly, but absolutely none of that money went towards the cleaning costs that are quoted in Property Link's list of fines. I emailed James repeatedly to sort this out while the house was still in their care, and never received a reply. Now the keys have been handed over, we're cleaning it all up ourselves.
Speaking of handing over the keys, when I arrived at the office on the day of completion to ask for the keys, the receptionist searched high and low for 5 minutes without finding them. Eventually, a contractor happened to arrive at the office and it turns out he still had the keys to the property. They were handed over to me and I'm very happy to wash my hands of this stinking excuse for an estate agent.
This agent is a total shambles. Avoid at all costs.

GoogleThis is the worst agency there is! There is no communication between the staff members or their tenants! We were with them for a year, our main problem was our shower wasn't working properly and we rang almost weekly to get someone to fix it, after about half way through the lease they sent someone out who said there was a problem with the water system, when we got someone in to look at it they said it was a faulty shower! Never the less it never got fixed.
Then they sent someone over who was not a qualified anything, just their handyman, who dug a hole outside our front door which never got filled and never had any explanation as to why it was dug up..??
They would send random electricians and plumbers around without notifying us who, god love them had no idea why they were there and every time we showed the shower they said the same thing. But still never was fixed. So we showered in the gym.
My advice avoid them!! If you have no other option but to use them DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!! Any payments you make to them, if you ring send an email too because they don't document anything, and be firm as hell!
The only upside is they have no problem with late rent payments which as a student was helpful... but then again is it due to them not being organised.
It is a joke of a place.

GoogleTerrible property management company. House was prone to mold despite our leaving the windows open for long periods of time. House was poorly insulated leading to high cost of heating. Water heater malfunctioned multiple times and we were told it would be £40 to have someone come to re-pressurize it on one such occasion. Repair staff were not timely or prepared (we had to help the staff replace a light fixture). Poor tenant service, little to no contact with tenants regarding maintenance requests. On a September to September lease, had many house showings beginning in February with little notice.
Please save yourself the trouble and go with a different agency, this company is irresponsible and you will almost certainly be disappointed.

GoogleTerrible experience renting a property for one year.
Charged double deposit for one tenant which was only communicated two weeks prior to moving in.
Problems from day one with no running water and rubbish (old shoes and subway wrappers) left in cupboards from previous tenants. Multiple areas of the house leaking water with mould and damp growing in some of the walls.
Very confusing and unprofessional situation with keys. We were given thee sets of keys for a four bedroom house with no way of unlocking the fourth bedroom door. When requesting the fourth set we were told they were "unable to give out keys for the house" and attempted to charge us for unlocking the room before sending a contractor in to remove all the locks from the rooms.
Next issue was with the shower leaking down through the flourescent bulb into the kitchen. Despite the problem being 'fixed' the issue persisted throughout the year. Missing light switch cover in bedroom exposing bare wires was reported but this was fixed, one week before moving out.
Overall, avoid renting form this agency if possible.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Hi Oisin,
Thank you for your comments, please feel free to call us directly to discus why a double deposit was taken from one of your housemates, as this clearly was not discussed amongst yourselves.
I can confirm the property was fully redecorated prior to your tenancy beginning, in addition to this we have a comprehensive maintenance system in place where any issues could of been reported throughout your tenancy at any time, I can confirm all and any reports were dealt with swiftly.
If you would like to discuss anything further please call our office on 02890663106.

GoogleWe arrived for a viewing for a rental property the other day and when we turned up, it was a group viewing, in a pandemic. It felt very unsafe and we would have liked a warning. I would not have gone to the viewing if I knew there would be other people crammed into the house with us at the same time. The estate agent was late, rude and unprofessional. He stood on his phone texting while we were trying to ask him questions about the property and he did not look up from his phone when answering. I would not rent from this company.NegativeProfessionalism

We do not permit groups of people to enter a property and have a pre screening COVID questionnaire to highlight this along with other precautions undertaken during viewings.
If you could kindly get back to us on this matter we would appreciate it.

GoogleI moved into a flat managed by Property Link six months ago - the place was absolutely filthy despite an "inspection" being carried out before getting the keys - there was mould all over the walls and some of the fixtures, and there clearly had been no attempt to clean the property before the move in date. Upon complaining to Property Link about the state of the furnishings in the flat, and informing them that I would redecorate the place - the staff said I was the type of tenant they "would want to keep", because most of their tenants only want a "dwelling". A poor indication of how they think of their tenants. The staff told me that the landlord would refuse to spend money on fixing the place up, and that I should go ahead and replace fixtures myself (fridge-freezer, sofa, dining table and chairs, etc). I have made the flat as nice as it possibly can be by painting and redecorating the whole flat, I have replaced a lot of the furnishings, and I have always paid my rent - I have not even pushed them to fix some of the things I am unable to do myself - yet six months before my tenancy is due to end, without any warning, I have received a very rude phone call from Property Link to ask whether I will sign a contract for another year from SEPTEMBER. When I said I needed time to think about it, I was told I had until the end of the day, but within an hour the property was advertised on PropertyPal. I have now asked to be sent the new contract for consideration, but the receptionist has yet to do even this, and the property remains advertised. I feel as though I am being punished for complaining at the start of my tenancy and essentially being kicked out - even though everything I complained about they agreed with when they saw the photographs I took (apparently “a third party” carries out inspections so they weren’t aware of the state of the place - property owners take note). At least I have improved the place slightly for the next sorry soul who moves in here. If this is how they treat tenants they "want to keep", I dread to think how they treat anyone else. Avoid if you possibly can.

GoogleIf I could give 0 stars I would. Booked a viewing and the agent didn't turn up, note that we had previously phoned them 3 times and left voicemails to confirm the booking and the time which they then phoned back and confirmed. Phoned them when they didnt turn up to be told that the booking was set for half an hour esrlier and that the agent haf already taken someone round under that booking? When they could not have done this under our name. Awful agency that just want to do students over.

GoogleMy girlfriend and me arraged a view. Once we got there, the agent told us that the tenant had changed the lock, so we had to arraged another view in a different day. When I went there for second time, I could just visit two bedrooms and the bathroom. It wasn't possible to check the livingroom and the kitchen because the tenant was there!! This company and that agent are not ready enough to run a business like this. You don't deserve one star, you deserve ZERO STARS.
