Had a great experience with Giant Property. The whole team is extremely professional and genuinely goes the extra mile to make sure you’re comfortable throughout the process. I’ve honestly never had such a quick and smooth experience, we managed to get everything finalized in almost half a day, which was a huge relief because I had to vacate my current property within a few days. A special shoutout to Daniel, who was brilliant throughout the whole process. He was always quick to respond, very patient, and genuinely willing to help whenever something came up and never makes you feel like you’re bothering him (even when I definitely am with my silly questions 😅). He also came in person for the key handover and explained how everything in the apartment works, which I really appreciate. If the Giant Property bosses are reading this… please give Daniel a raise, he’s earned it! I’d happily recommend Daniel and the entire Giant Property team to anyone looking for a place in Belfast.

Dan at Giants in Belfast has been a huge help to us. He’s supported us with both of the offices we’ve rented and has also been great with our managers who work remotely, always quick to respond and genuinely willing to help when things come up. We’ve had a couple of situations where we needed support at short notice, and Dan stepped in without hesitation. Most recently, he found us a new office within 24 hours when we had to leave our previous one, which took a lot of pressure off us. He’s reliable, easy to deal with, and clearly cares about his clients. We’d happily recommend him and the Giant Property Team to anyone looking for office space in Belfast. Thanks Dan!!

We arrived at 9am to collect our keys, assuming they would be ready as we were told to pick them up that day. Since no specific time was given, we thought they’d be prepared when the office opened. However, the staff were rude and dismissive, telling us we needed wait for a phone call. As a result, we ended up waiting around Belfast until 5pm for the ‘cleaners’ to finish. When we finally got the keys and checked the house, we were horrified. It was in a completely unacceptable state. There was thick grease left on the kitchen surfaces, bugs in the cupboards, sticky floors, and the bedrooms were full of leftover items like fake nails and socks from previous tenants. One mattress had mould on it, making it unsafe to sleep on, forcing my friend and me to share a bed on our first night. To have us waiting about belfast for hours with no belongings for cleaners that can’t to their job is unacceptable. We ended up cleaning until 2am to sort the house out. In October or November, the radiator in my room broke. I emailed for assistance after my family member couldn’t fix it, and a plumber was sent out. However, he only partially repaired it, leaving the radiator on full heat and unable to change the temperature. After following up with several emails asking when it would be fixed, I was given multiple dates, but the issue was still unresolved by the end of January, when I returned after Christmas. I had to chase them several more times before the issue was addressed, meaning our oil was wasted, and we had to purchase an extra tank unnecessarily. The way they handle rent payments is also highly unprofessional. Most months, after we’ve paid, we receive emails saying they haven’t received the payment and asking us to prove we’ve sent it, including the account details. Each time, they provide a different account to send the payment to. These emails cause unnecessary anxiety, making us worry that we’ve sent the money to the wrong account or risk losing it. To make matters worse, the tone of these emails is rude, as though we are at fault, despite the fact they could have simply checked for a few extra minutes to locate our transaction. The most recent email we received was asking us for our rent payment that we had already sent. We received many of emails giving us a different account to send it to, and asking where we sent our deposit to? Which was paid in September. However, they then realised that it was the wrong person. This caused excessive amounts of stress and bother for no reason.

I have rented an 1-bedeoom apartment via Giant Property in Belfast for the last 3 years. Chris helped me find this flat literally in one day when I was struggling to find a place to live with my puppy, and move-in process was very quick and smooth. They responded and helped me promptly every time I had issues with the flat. I would hate to leave the place but it is now time to move on as I am moving to a different city. I lived at a rental property from August 2021 until 2022 during my second year at Queen's University. I had to leave unexpectedly due to mental health difficulties but overall I enjoyed my experience in 102 Lisburn Road. When I decided to move home after struggling with my mental health the team at Giant properties accepted my leaving early and gave me my deposit back as I left the room I rented as clean as possible. The house itself was in good condition and I had absolutely lovely housemates who respected my privacy and offered help when needed. Giant Properties were understanding when I had to leave due to mental health circumstances and although sometimes slow to reply to issues, a good rental service, in my experience.

STAY AWAY!! This will be my 4th year as a student in Belfast. GIANT Property is hands down the worst agency I dealt with in Belfast. The staff are poorly trained, slow and lazy. Everything is an effort for them and the response time is ridiculous. Our lights downstairs fused, leaving us in darkness for 3 weeks until they sent someone out to fix the problem...after we refused to pay rent until the problem was fixed. I’d rate lower than one star if I could.
