Since 2014 Campbell and Co have rented out my property. They have always been professional and friendly, and kept me well informed as to how my property was maintained. Paul was in charge of the sale of my property more recently, and although I was in a different country he took the stress out of it and put me at ease. I originally wrote this review 6 years ago and everything I said still stands. If you have a property you wish to let and need someone to manage the process for you, there is no better team in Belfast or Lisburn. Very happy with the service I have received. Gordon and his team have been responsible for letting out my property in east Belfast for the past 9 years (since 2008). During this whole time, thanks to their excellent organisation and market knowledge, I have had barely 5 weeks in total of the property being empty in between tenants. All maintenance and running repairs have been undertaken to a high standard at a very reasonable cost by the tradesmen they have organised on my behalf. When I recently had an issue with a tenant (the first time this has ever occurred), the problem was dealt with extremely swiftly and professionally at minimum inconvenience/financial loss to me. I would not hesitate to recommend this company if you own a property which you wish to let out and you value peace of mind.

I’ve had a rental property managed by Campell & Co for many years and have never once had to contact them, the reason behind this lack of contact is because not only do they make a deposit into my bank every month accompanied by a well laid out advice note listing everything that is relevant, they also send regular reports on how they visit my property for inspection and if anything needs attention they ask for my approval, then they contact the relevant trade person to carry out the repair. I’ve recommended them to a friend and they now manage a rental property for him. When I acquire my next rental property my first port of call will be Campell & Co as their management skill and attention to detail are second to none.

Avoid! Called to arrange a viewing. Apartment was right next to my sisters flat. I told them I wanted the next possible chance to view it, I would just look at the condition and would apply straight away. Got a viewing two days after the call. I asked if the flat would be still available by then because I had problems with flats being gone by the time I had a viewing. I said that this flat would be ideal because its next to my sister and was told "fingers crossed" in a tone that was unbelievably enraging. Called one day in advanced to confirm the viewing because I read reviews with people being stranded infront of the flats with nobody showing up. And surprise the flat was gone. Maybe I am to blame for expecting a letting agency to act in a decent manner.

EDIT*** Perhaps the attached photo of my tenancy agreement will jog your memory. Clearly your record keeping is as good as your property management. *** Avoid at all costs! I rented with Campbell and Co. for a year and have never had a worse rental experience in my life. The house was filthy and walls, windows and curtains where covered with mould upon moving in, which we were then told to correct ourselves. I was also woke before 9 on multiple mornings by a contractor entering the house to carry out work we had not been informed off. My room was left in a mess after this involving dirty footprints on my bed spread. The house was also infested with both rats and mice, evidence of which can be seen in the attached photos. Upon reporting this to the estate agents we received a patronising and rude response and were told this was our issue to deal with. The house was unfit to live in and I had to find alternative accommodation for myself and my belongings for a number of weeks until we could catch and dispose of the rats and mice ourselves. I suspect this is a problem that had arisen in the past in this property as there was numerous holes in the walls and cupboards which had been stuffed with wire wool. To top it all off upon moving out of this property I was asked to chase up my own deposit with the new tenants, of whom I had no contact with. Highly unprofessional!

I have had a good experience with Campbell & Co. On New Years Eve I had issues with my boiler and the staff did everything to help get it going. Unfortunately I had no heat on New Years Day but this was due to parts availability but as for the company I cannot complain.

Live in a house rented by Campbell co. The house had an ongoing leak in the shower. We continued to contact the agencey regarding this issue but they never fix it properly. Eventually a hole appeared in the kitchen due to the ongoing issue and black mole appeared around the area. When we reported that it had got worse, they still did nothing.

AVOID!!!!!!! David the property manager lets the whole company down and he is the one you will have to deal with when seeking repairs or getting your deposit back. Reluctant to acknowledge problems, slow to fix and will try to take some of your deposit. Held £80 because they need to professionally clean a house that was handed over to me with previous tenants old dirty belongings still in most cupboards and drawers.
