Reeds Rains Chorley have been outstanding in the handling of our property sale. The ad on Rightmove was excellent with fabulous photographs. The house sold the same day it hit the website.Roy and his staff at the Chorley branch are friendly efficient and very professional. Highly recommended!!

They did not listen to how I wanted to have the house listed. Plus they named my ex in all the emails they sent, plus informed him of any offers before myself, yet it is myself who will be paying them, not my ex of five years.

Started with the branch manager lying about a property he had sold in the local area, turns out they hadn’t. He then offered us a ‘discount’ on the fee, failing to mention that he wasn’t including the VAT in the number. Then they charged for photos which were pretty terrible and a very difficult photographer to deal with. When it came to showing the house we left instructions to ensure the curtains were opened during viewing as we were away. This didn’t happen and the interested parties had to do this themselves. The agent last showing around couldn’t share any information on the property as they were from the Lettings side of the business. Another appointment the agents didn’t turn up leaving potential buyers stood on the doorstep eventually giving up. Luckily the house sold itself. Reeds Rains Congleton are a great advert for purple bricks!

GoogleWhat excellent service From Reeds Rains, right from the start Andrew took the time to explain everything, then onto Rhys, Sarah, karis all was there to help and assist with whatever I needed, and kept me informed throughout. What an amazing team. The fees may be a little higher than other place but this is well worth every penny as their customer service and customer experience is second to none . Absolute joke of a letting agents, I moved out of my property 2nd April and still haven't recieved my deposit back, I ring virtually everyday to get told tomorrow which never comes. Beware people if deciding to rent an property with as they are crooks.

Awful customer service by a male this after noon was rude on the phone just sounded like he was to busy to speak was only enquiring about property’s and literally did not want to talk at all would not recommend to anyone awful company if they let there staff speak to people like that get better customer serves in McDonald’s 👏👍🏻

I'd intended to consider 2 or 3 agents but during Jack from Reeds Rains' visit decided just to go with them, though reconsider if they hadn't made the sale within the first few months. The valuation given was a little above what I'd been hoping for and I knew they had recently sold and had listed a could of similar properties to mine. They listed my property as 'stunning', which of course I was pleased with, and it must have worked. A couple of viewings followed shortly after, Maggie conducted the viewings and, no lie, there were two offers to buy, one at the asking price, and one above a few days later. I'd been at the viewings, I hadn't intended to be but one group arrived very early, and after discussing the offers with Justin the manager agreed that going with the higher offer seemed maybe not quite so credible and I think it was a good decision. The property sale duly completed 3 months later at just £5,000 under the initial offer. I've never sold another property as easy as this one was sold, if only it was always as easy this! My only complaint, there was an extra charge for premium photographs, but anyway this was waived after they listened to my arguments. 10 out of 10!
