I have been helping a friend who has lost his son recently and his wife has now been admitted to hospital. There is a personal matter relating to a letting which is managed by Reeds Rains which required a sympathetic consideration. The matter was handled by Megan both sympathetically and professionally. In a hard business world sometimes decency and empathy shine through.

The worst renting company I’ve ever had the displeasure of being with!!! REEDS RAINS HANLEY IN STOKE ON TRENT!!!I move out in 4 days… 4DAYS!!! And I’ve been emailing them the same email for 3 weeks straight they won’t email back they’re completely ignoring us, now that we’ve paid our last months rent they couldn’t care less about us or our move… we’re stressed and it’s causing serious problems with my health! Don’t be surprised if you receive a letter from court for negligence to your tenants… absolutely disgusting company!!!

GoogleWe would definitely recommend !! Really helpful in supporting us as first time buyers. Karis was always on hand and great at communicating when we needed any information. She kept us up to date throughout the whole process and explained anything that we were unsure about. We purchased our house in just under 8 weeks and it was a very quick and simple process considering the stress of buying a house! Thank you.

This is one of the fraudsters on Stoke high street. Security deposit will not be protected, and you will lose it without explanation, as there is zero response to email and calls to the agency, or to the central of theirs. Highly NOT recomended. Prepare to lose money on them! It is 3 months down since closing the rental and they do not care to give your money back.

AWFUL experience. I was moved into a house that had not been thoroughly checked by the estate agent, so there was no ventilation in the bathroom (legal requirement), a missing fire alarm, broken glass, the property hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, no working freezer, no security alarm... the list goes on. I had to go into branch a number of times, emailing for months on end, was told by a maintenance team member to 'forget it'. I managed to end my tenancy early which cost me a lot of time and was very stressful. They now are making no effort to attempt to get my deposit returned, so I'm having to formally raise a dispute. This is months of unnecessary stress. Save yourself the pain, don't rent from them.

Beware. If you happen to buy a property from them. Each person will have to fork £48 ID checks. That usually done by solicitor as part of their package. While they need to verify.i don't see the point of extra payment. I would say go get that money from their customer ( seller of property)

Very disappointed in Reed Rains Evesham, sale of my house took far longer than it should have due to their lack of due diligence (which they claimed was there strong point) sale fell through twice, I had to push them for communication every week and all they kept saying was “we have put a call in? We have sent an email” Best bit was with in 30 minutes of Me telling them I had exchanged I received their bill!!!Would not recommend unless you are prepared to wait and chase them every step of the way

We had to sell my mums house after she passed away suddenly. Jack and Jeremy made an awful experience so much easier. We live 350 miles away and they took care of everything: the viewings, valuation etc and kept me constantly informed. I can't recommended them highly enough. Professional, courteous and very approachable. I found their charges more than fair.

We bought a house and were promised by the Manager that the house will be cleared of all rubbish. We still found rubbish and kept on requesting them to clear and they were not interested.I am surprised after reminders and so many reminders they ignored.Try to avoid if you can, can not be trusted.

Decided to put our mothers house on the market. Back in june . When someone wanted to buy it . we was advised to use there solicitors oniell patient solicitors from MANCHESTER not local which was strange. . Well the buyer was a cash buyer so should be straight forward i thought. Well here we are week 7 and no further forward. Tryed calling them to query time put on hold for eternity asked for several call backs nothing . So went through estate agent and guess what no help. Just told to sit and wait . Well its all good well but when you have no where to live after house is sold and you cant put your name on a lease until you get a date . Well how long does a no chain sale take . Me i thought weeks not this shet show by both parties on this . I would never use a in house solicitors again . Never . Stick to local firms not call centres .especially after reading the reviews about the solicitors.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!4 years ago the council came to inspect the property to make sure the house was suitable for living in. After finding numerous issues they put together a long list of maintainence problems that needed sorting within a month. Reeds rains act as the middle man between my landlord and myself and after endless phone calls and the works still not been done 4 years later, I have had to get the council involved and now the local MP due to there incompentance. I never get up dated, myself and the land lord have been repeatedly lied too, phone calls and emails not returned, refusal to speak to a manager, messages to the manger to call never returned, a call regarding broken boiler and no hot water (I have a son) resulted been told in "boil the kettle and fill the bath that way (I have a one cup kettle for starter ffs!), my sons asthma aggrivated by the damp and mould unresolved issues in the house, leaks in the house never attended too, same contractors coming a to do quotes in the works 4 times in the last 4 years with no work actually starting, the wall crumbling in my sons room, leaks in the roof.... I could go on an on to the point where this review would end up been a book.The property management team for reeds rains are an absolute disgrace!! Not one of them would be able to tell the @rse from a hole in the ground.Reeds rains... Get your bloody act together!!!! Landlords pay you a monthly fees to do a job and that job never gets done.I have rights as a tenant and this tenant is sick to the back teeth of all the lies and incompetence. I am now taking my case further!!Reeds Rains.... As for you reply below, the issue is with your company, not the landlord. You are the middle man as said before and it is you who have neglected to pass on the correct information to all parties as well as ignoring the issues and allowing this to continue for 4 years. The senior has called me and continued to lie and was called out on then tried to back track on what she said. You need to stop passing the book and do you jobs!

Asked to view a property they said it will take five days then they said if interested it will take four months for the tenant to leave and purchase the property and would only accept a very inflated price I don’t think they are interested in selling the property or that’s how they made me think whoever is in charge of this company needs to get a grip because there staff don’t seem to have the company’s interests first,very disappointed at the service
