Oh my word!! What an easy and a great experience we had, selling our property through Mantons Estate Agents!! We had the pleasure of dealing with Rosina Sheaf and Ian Manton. We found them to be friendly, very knowledgeable and very experienced with the whole process of the sale. Rosina was able to advise and guide us through everything we wanted and needed to know from start to finish!! Even on the phone, whole team were very polite and helpful passing on the messages and receiving the call backs! So if you’re seriously looking to sell (or to buy) a property, please, do not waste your time and money looking at other Agents!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the first meeting with Ian, it was apparent that he was very knowledgeable with the local housing market. He had researched house sales in the vicinity and closely examined my property, so knew exactly what he was dealing with. From our conversation, I was confident that the sale price and expected time scale was achievable, and so this proved, as it sold in just two days, and over the asking price. All Manton's staff were just as knowledgeable, polite and efficient, they made me feel that my sale was very important to them. Viewings were all accompanied, and I was kept updated at all stages. The team made the whole sales process very easy, probably the best company I have dealt with in a long time. The fee was very competitive, I received great value and service, and was not just paying huge rates for a big Hight Street name. Well done and thank you.

I chose Mantons to sell my property on seeing how quickly properties were sold once a Mantons board went up. Ian did the valuation and he came prepared with informarion on similiar properties on my street. I felt he got the valuation spot on. I was impressed when he also outlined to me the costs of both buying and selling, which assisted me in putting together a budget of costs. The team who I met were Ian, Dawn, Rosina and Ryan - they were at all times professional but friendly and unlike other property consultants I have met, they were honest - a big plus for me. I had no issues with scheduled viewings. If I could not accommodate a viewing that was ok. My property sold within 4 weeks of going live. Ian went 1 step further and assisted me in the process of procuring a conveyancing solocitor, a task he didnt have to undertake. I would highly recommend Mantons to family and friends who are thinking of buying or selling their properties. I really like Mantons. I first came into contact with them when I bought my apartment five years ago, when they acted for the seller. They are a small local agent with a very professional, no-BS, staff who all do a fantastic job. I automatically went to them when it came to selling the apartment recently; they found a buyer quickly, and the whole process went through very smoothly. However, and the reason this is not a five star review, although their website specifies a 0.8% fee, I was rather taken aback to learn, just before signing their contract, that "we charge a flat fee for leaseholds", which in most cases for Luton apartments will work out to be more expensive. This is not mentioned on their website and I think, in the interest of transparency, should be. That aside, thank you to everyone at Mantons for your wonderful service. I would recommend Mantons without hesitation and would use them again.

I used a third party website to find out who were the best estate agent in my area based on my property size but also who had sold properties closest to their valuation. Mantons were top of the list. When Ian valued the property, I got the impression that he was giving a realistic valuation and his approach was not pushy or salesman like either. Choosing Mantons was a wise choice as they were in constant communication throughout the sale process. Upon putting our house on the market, we were provided with the advert and final say before it was posted online. We were provided with a constant stream of viewings, meeting friendly members of the team (Dawn & Wesley) and the viewings were the right type of people to consider buying our size of property and no time wasters. We were fortunate enough to agree a sale on our property within 4 weeks which was doubly impressive when considering we are including the xmas/new year period. After agreeing the sale, Ian and the team (Leah, Wesley) were still in constant communication when needed, discussing the buyers situation in detail and any obvious hurdles we may experience along the way. A friendly, informative estate agent is what most people hope for and not a sales led approach. When buying/selling a property is one of the most stressful life experiences, you want estate agents who are on your side and not adding to the stress. At no point, did Mantons fail. Superb throughout and highly recommended.

Aftercare was virtually non existent for our sale. I had various concerns regarding our sale but with the chaos of a forced quick completion I could only bring this matter to the attention of Ian post completion, he responded fully over a week later & that was after a couple of prompting emails, i think he was hoping to forget my complaint. I would not recommend Mantons, my experience is once the house is sold thats their part done!
