I have no issues with regards to using Lesley Hooks as a Letting Agent or from a Sales point of view. They have let and managed a property for me over a 5 year period and recently sold a property on my behalf. If any issues arose, they would keep me fully informed. As a result, I was able to react to carry out repairs for tenants in good time, and make well informed decisions with regards to the sale of a property. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional and I could not recommend them highly enough.

After a couple of years renting out my property and Leslie Hooks managing that for me, I recently put the house on the market with them. They say it’s a stressful process, but I can honestly say the team at LH made the whole thing completely stress free for me. I work abroad and the team at Leslie Hooks have managed the whole process perfectly and with a smile on their faces. Rachael sorting the marketing and viewings, and Jake, who, from day one, has gone far beyond that which may be expected from an estate agents to ensure a smooth and swift sale. Never once did I feel uninformed or have to chase them. He arranged inspections with the council, replacement documents where I’d lost things, visits and revisits by inspectors, I can’t imagine how a team could be more customer focussed, efficient and capable. I can’t thank them all enough, but one thing is for sure, I’d never use anyone else. Thanks so much guys, you’ve been the dream team!

Shocking treatment of my sister on her…

Shocking treatment of my sister on her moving day. What kind of company who's supposed to be representing you, phones you up less than an hour after you've picked up your keys to your new home asking if you've moved yet, then blatantly lies about the buyers apparently in rental accommodation and needing to move in as their rental ended, when you've had conversations with the buyer as recently as 2 hours before you picked up your new home keys and they've told you they own the property their living in and wouldn't be moving in for 6 weeks or so. Then threatened with solicitors when they don't like the time their given. Her contract said leaving date of 25th August and gave no specific time, so if she'd left at 23.59pm she would have still been compliant.

This was so frustrating and it reached its ultimate climax when we arranged a viewing and the member of staff who we met at the property was very abrupt, rude and very dismissive of both our circumstances and requests of their organisation. This was to the extent that she actually mistook us for another client and thought they had our details recorded through their sales progression team. This was so unprofessional and resulted in us not even completing a full viewing on a rental property that we were very interested in. As we were due to sell our existing property and move into a rental property before our new property is ready next year, this did not assist in the whole process. I would avoid utilising this organisation at all costs
