GoogleDuncan has been an absolutely pleasure to work with. Me and partner purchased our first home through Zest and I couldn’t recommend highly enough. GoogleI’ve been a student living in my flat for just under a month now and I have to say that I would already not rent with Zest again. When signing our contracts, Zest made a mistake with some of the official documents, requiring us to resign all of our documents, making one of our tenants nervous, ultimately resulting in her dropping out of our house and once we had found a replacement tenant, the documents were no longer viable due to a change in the renters rights agreement changes in early 2026. When moving in, a painter was still renovating our property, removing mold and painting. our bathroom wasn’t aired properly and on top of all this, a TV which was promised to us to have been installed on arrival, wasn’t there. we still haven’t received one, despite messaging our landlords multiple times over this. Our electrics keep tripping and we cannot access our heating as it is protected by a pin that isn’t known by our landlord or Zest. Severely disappointed and would not recommend.

GoogleWhen I decided to sell my flat, I invited three estate agents including Zest to provide valuations. Each suggested a very different asking price. I chose Zest because they came across as professional and genuinely interested in helping me achieve the best outcome, rather than simply recommending the highest asking price. I'm pleased that I made the right decision. Throughout the process, the team was helpful, responsive, and kept me well informed. Although the sale took a little longer than I had hoped, they remained patient, supportive, and proactive from start to finish. In the end, the final selling price was very close to the asking price they had originally recommended, which confirmed that their valuation was realistic and well judged. I wouldn't hesitate to use Zest again in the future and would happily recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property.

GoogleDuncan at Zest was brilliant. He did his research, but also took the time to understand the true value of my property rather than relying solely on recent local sales. He had a great sense of the type of buyer the property would suit, explained Zest’s offering clearly, and never came across as pushy. His communication was excellent throughout, at times he kept me better informed than my own solicitor. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use Zest again based on this.

GoogleIf you’re a student, please avoid this greedy company entirely!! They will absolutely try to exploit you and pressure you when you check out of the rental property to accept their ridiculous unjustified deposit reductions. It’s disheartening to see other students have had the same experience, I wish we did some research beforehand on this. Just because we didn’t use their overpriced cleaners that was over £470 they are claiming our chosen professional cleaners are not their standards when we have had no issue ever in previous properties. On the checkout report and their justification for charging £100 ‘rubbish removal’ was for items that were already in the house (plastic bin, forks, knives, etc)when we moved in. This is not including the £200 extra they want to deduct for carpet cleaning, which was already old and in tatters when we moved in and also £100 garden cleanup. I am appalled zest has gotten away with this for so long, saying it is not that much money! Its the principle of scamming unsuspecting students! FYI: notice how all the positive reviews are from landlords and never from students or tenants; this arrangement seems to benefit both zest and landlords greatly
Dear Asu, We are sorry to read your review and saddened that you feel this way. Suggestions of deposit deductions are often highly emotive and we do understand that this can cause distress and discomfort. We completely reject the suggestion that we are in any way exploitative; there are several layers put in place to fully protect tenants from deposit deductions which they feel may be unfair and they may wish to dispute. Ultimately, we act as an intermediary between tenant and landlord and, as our client, we act on the landlord's instruction. You are under absolutely no obligation to accept the deposit deductions, and you have every opportunity to inform the DPS that you do not agree. The DPS will then look at all the evidence and make an award accordingly which is legally binding. The measures of protection are there for you to use, and our team clearly state that they will support you through the process should you wish to dispute the proposed deductions. We know cleaning is expensive, but our recommended cleaners are by no means overpriced - I understand though that this is a matter of opinion. Ultimately I am sorry that you are not happy with the way your tenancy ended; and I hope this sentiment isn't indicative of your entire tenancy experience. GoogleMy partner and I are new into the rental market however Zest have been the most helpful company supporting us through every step of the process. They have been so responsive with emails, making very clear points about every part of the process clearly explaining everything. They got our property rented out super quickly and had numerous offers put in, it was a very easy and quick process. Very professional in their and extremely supportive, could not recommend enough.

GoogleI have no hesitation in applauding the staff at Zest Property Group Bath. From the moment I viewed the rental property to the point of handover of keys, every assistance has been given with genuine care and without reservation I would 100% recommend looking to this company in the first instance. GoogleThis has been the first time renting on my own and I am overwhelmed with how amazing Zest Properties has been at ensuring this has been an easy and minimal stress transition. Despite the few and inevitable teething issues, my property manager Porschia has been wonderful in sorting these out immediately and going out of her way to ensure my first few days were comfortable in my new home. Porschia kept in contact with effective communication and provided me with helpful follow ups, taking away the stress and anxiety I have received from other estate agents when handling issues in the past.
