I recently had a valuation carried out by Steve Mather, from previous experience I wasent full of confidence with Connells however Steve did a superb job , he hit the nail on the head with the valuation and the rent figures and it was exactly what was put forward, I wish more surveyors where like Steve. I hope he gets this feedback and I hope I get him again on future projects. 10/10

This is the worse most unprofessional low class company I’ve had the misfortune to deal with in 50 years. They will do absolutely anything to wriggle and negate any responsibility when things go wrong, which they will I assure you.. do yourself a favour and steer well clear . They don’t deserve one star, the higher up the chain you go the more incompetent it gets. Awful, terrible service. I spoke to the police about the incident and the Seargent said “ oh they’re terrible , we’ve had problems.”

Awful customer service! During my remortgage they never answered phonecalls nor responded to emails and they promised they'd pass the message onto the mortgage advisor time & time again, but nothing ever happened. After complaining about my mortgage advisor Ralph Wilkinson things only improved slightly as he still continued to ignore all my phonecalls but would just send a vague email in response. This was an incredibly stressful experience and I would say definitely avoid!

GoogleMyself and my partner were buying our first home and had no idea were to start, what to ask or how the whole process worked. Alicia was our mortgage consultant and she was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. She was really informative and helped us understand and explore all mortgage options available, to ensure we were getting the best mortgage for us. Zoe was our negotiator and she was also brilliant and allowed myself and partner to visit the property multiple times at our convenience. The communication was great, they both kept us up-to-date throughout the whole process. We have just spent our first couple of days in our new home and couldn’t be happier. Thank you!

Poor they do not contact you. I wouldn't recommend them. I have asked 5 times what date doe's my contract end still no reply. The staff can be rude when you call for information. Do not sign the content. Please do not ues.

I loved the property on their site, I asked for viewings on 31 ist of January, I was asked to view the property on a Saturday 05 of February, the key lock wasn't working I was asked to go back and view on 12th of February, after viewing we were told that we would get a phone call with landlords approval or not, then I got a phone call from the Connels, asking me how much I was gonna give to them i told the the price, and if it was long therm wich I agreed.No phone call from the Landlords approval or denial, I called the Connels twice on 12th and 13th of February,her colleagues told me: the first time the lady how show us flat was busy, the second time she was out, on 14th of February I checked the site and the Status was "let agreed "; later i was told that the flat was given to someone else. No common sense from the Connels to tell us the good or bad news before their changed the flat status on Google and let's find out this way.No common sense from the ConnelsI was wondering let agreed by whom?

Unfortunately there is no option to leave no stars. Our experience with Connells Estate Agency has been disappointing and frustrating. Despite choosing to seel our house with them due to their familiarity, we encountered poor communication and unprofessionalism throughout the process. From inaccurate advice provided by their mortgage advisor which led to delays and unnecessary stress and wasting money on our part, to feeling pressured to accept offers from investors, it became clear that our interests as clients were not prioritised. Despite assurances, the agency failed to address our concerns effectively, leaving us with a lack of confidence in their reliability and credibility. Overall, if you want to have a stress free, professional sale DO NOT choose Connells to present your home to the market!

They have been holding my deposit since March with no reason at all. We spoke to the landlord personally and agreed an amount which we sent an email detailing and still they don’t want to process our deposit. The one star is for Naomi and Ben from the hitchin office everybody else is useless

GooglePurchased a property through Connells and used Chloe the mortgage advisor. Great service from both. There was a situation towards the end of our purchase outside of everyone control but we were kept really well updated resulting in minimal stress. If we decide to sell we will use both again.

I went to get a mortgage in principle. After discussing and giving all my intimation, I didn’t hear anything from the company. I kept sending emails, and phone calls to the office multiple times. Every time I was told that someone would get back to me but nobody never got back. Incredible how such a company can even exist with such employees.

Just watched a investigation by panorama on connells estate agents which was very concerning, highlighting the company dishonesty. I went to connells in kingswood Bristol to let out a property. The letting agent seem to know what he was doing. Definitely had the talk but unfortunately did not have the walk. When he posted the property on rightmove website. The photographs of the property were horrendous!!! The photos were so blurry and poor they looked like a 10 year old had taken them. No video as promised. As soon as I seen them, I demand they be taken down before futher damage was done. I was assured this would corrected. When chasing them up the next day I discovered they had replaced the photographs with ones I had taken myself and doing up the property. They failed at the most basic and crucial part of advertising the property. I would advoid this company and also watch the tv investigation on connells. Advoid at all cost unless your happy to be taken for a ride.

Against my better judgement, I was persuaded to sell my house with Connells. It was the worst decision I made. One particular staff member was aggressive and bullied me throughout the whole time. They were only on the buyers side and did not help me at all. We were manipulated and lied to, and what is a stressful experience was made even more so by that staff members actions. I was on the point of a breakdown by the time we moved. I will never use Connells again, and would advise people to stay well clear.

She has been very helpful and supportive throughout the process. Nothing is too much for her, anytime I needed any help be it with understanding the process or handling the paperwork, she has been excellent. She is very kind and friendly. Always there to support. She is our mortgage advisor but she will go extra mile to help you with any questions you have. Honestly she is brilliant. I would highly recommend Chloe. Mr and Mrs Ale, Basingstoke.

GoogleQuite possibly the easiest part of buying my first home thanks in no small part to Chloe Buck. From the first call she made everything clear, walked me through all of my options clearly and checked in regularly to see how things were progressing with the purchase. Even when the transaction was on the verge of collapse, Chloe was invaluable in trying to do everything possible to help. Nothing was a burden. I don't agree with people picking up work related tasks when they are on leave, no matter the time sensitivity, however I was very appreciative when Chloe chased the lender for one query when in my view she didn't have to. Ultimately, the mortgage offer expired due to how long things were taking on the conveyancer side of things, but Chloe was always ready to resubmit a new application with me. Again, she made the mortgage application side of things the easiest part of the whole process, especially at a point when the whole transaction was at risk. Chloe is a credit to Connells, and I do wonder if I would have had such a smooth application process with anyone else. Thank you for all of your help!

GoogleAbsolutely amazing service received from Bethany, Charlie and the team at Connell’s South. This is the second time we have had dealings with them, last move we bought our house through them and they went over and above expectations. This time we did not hesitate selling our house through them and again they have gone above and beyond to sell our house and also found our dream house. Communication has has been excellent and they have kept us informed all the way, listening to our requirements and remaining professional at all times. I would definitely recommend them to all our family and friends. 😊

Connells did valuation report on my house recently. It is a comedy of errors by this company. Firstly, they tried to falsify my report by adding that my property was in a flood area and had previously been flooded. All of which was proven to be incorrect and instead of altering the valuation report to suit this they refuse.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
