We had a fantastic experience with Balgores throughout the purchase of our new home and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Buying a house can be an incredibly stressful process, especially when you’re dealing with a difficult chain, but the team at Balgores made the whole experience feel so much easier. From the very beginning, everyone we dealt with was professional, friendly and incredibly helpful. A special thank you to Ewan, who kept us regularly updated throughout the process and worked hard to make sure everything continued moving forward as quickly as possible. His communication was excellent and it made such a difference knowing we were always kept informed. We also want to give a huge thank you to Marie, who worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to keep the chain moving and push things forward so that we could achieve our preferred completion date. We really appreciated all the effort and determination she put in to getting everyone over the finish line. Moving house is never completely stress-free, but having such a supportive and proactive team on your side makes a huge difference. We are so grateful to everyone at Balgores for helping us get into our new home and making what could have been a very difficult process feel much more manageable. Ewan put our house on the market and within a week we were sold, however his communication with us didn’t stop there and he even negotiated a substantial difference off the house we were purchasing. I couldn’t recommend Ewan higher. Myself and my husband were genuinely impressed. After Ewan had completed his part with us, Marie took over for the communication between all parties involved in the chain. Marie’s updates were better than our solicitors and she was always available to speak to us and to provide updates. I have no doubt that Marie’s work ensured a smooth transition between all parties. We love our new house, and if we ever decided to sell again, it would absolutely be with Balgores. Thank you for such an exceptional service.

Ewan Klinker was our sales negotiator and was professional, an excellent communicator and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the industry. He took the time to get to know our property and its features which he used to attract and match to potential buyers. Producing an excellent brochure and marketing strategy maximised our selling opportunities. Ensuring we completed the homebuyers pack at the beginning of the process made for a smoother and more timely completion. Every viewer was qualified and feedback was detailed and useful. Once an offer had been accepted the excellent service continued through to completion. Special thanks to Ewan who went above and beyond by negotiating my onward purchase. Balgores have been fantastic in the sale of my Dad’s house. It’s been a long time coming, and many challenges along the way but I’m so pleased to have now completed. Thank you! Only 1 word of advice - DO NOT USE EVER USE PCS LAW! They are on Balgores approved solicitor list, but are absolutely useless & delayed me exchanging for days, meaning I had 2 days from exchange to completion.

I had just entered the country and was looking for a place to move in as quickly as possible. When I contacted balgores to schedule a viewing, the agent Michael was quite rude, judgemental and pompous and told me how he wanted to check first if I might be able to afford the property in the first place prior to scheduling a viewing or it would just be a waste of time for all of us. Once we viewed the flat, Michael told me how he should be able to get me in as quickly as possible. Once I paid the deposit, he called me and told me that the move in date would not be till the end of the week. It seemed convenient how he mentioned it only after I paid the deposit. I was under considerable duress but I tried to adjust anyways and trusted him. He ignored my calls multiple times and the times he picked up he was rude and unpleasant to speak to and hardly listened to what i had to say and also made judgementsand also snapped back at me. At last , 2 weeks later a day prior to the move in date, he called me to let me know that the move in would be further delayed as there was an issue with a safety certificate and he couldn't even commit to a date when the issue would be resolved. Eventually I had to ask for them to return all the money I had paid close to 3800 quids. Although I received my money back, the discomfort and mental hassle I had during the period was devastating to say the least. Extremely unprofessional behaviors.

I was recommended to Balgores Estate Agents, Wickford office by my friend Liz, and despite a hard long slog to sell my parents home I am greatful she did and I cannot fault the service that the Balgores team provided. The sale suffered several setbacks and numerous delays, all outside the control of Balgores, but despite this the team dusted themselves off every time and renewed their efforts. Outstanding service from start to finish (nearly)! I first used Balgores (Basildon) back in 2018 when purchasing my property, and they were absolutely fantastic. So, when it came time to sell recently, there was no hesitation, I went straight back to them. Within just a week of listing, my house was sold! Unfortunately, my initial buyer had to pull out due to issues in their own chain (completely out of Balgores’ control), but Joe and his team were incredible. They immediately arranged new viewings, and within six days of going back on the market, I had four or five offers, and accepted one! Over the past few months, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Georgia Yexley, my sales progressor. She has been nothing short of amazing, professional, patient, and relentless in pushing the sale forward. It’s been a long and sometimes stressful process (again, no fault of Balgores), but Georgia has been there every step of the way, offering advice, reassurance, and a lot of hard work behind the scenes. Even when I’ve been frustrated, she’s handled everything with kindness and understanding.
