GoogleWe have now sold twice through Nina estate agents. Their fees are very competitive and during the sale they guide you through the selling process way beyond what’s expected of them. The team keep you up to date with proceedings and always answer your calls or emails in a timely manner. Health & safety protocols were completely upheld during the Covid crises keeping everyone safe. We highly recommends Nina and the team if you are looking to sell your home. GoogleI have recently sold and bought through Nina Estate Agents and the service has been excellent the whole time, from initial appraisal with Nina, photos, measuring and virtual tour with Rob, viewings with Joe and David through to sales processing and picking up the keys from Pauline. They’re a great team, always friendly and professional and nothing’s too much trouble for them even when things get a little nerve wracking! GoogleI recently sold my first property with Nina, listed before lockdown and was initially made very welcome, talked through the sales process clearly and was happy with the costs involved. Appointment times were adhered to and I was given notice and feedback on all viewings and offers. GoogleFriendly & professional team that have given me realistic guidance in terms of placing my property on the market. Despite the challenges around Covid-19 they've ensured everything has been done in accordance to the guidelines with little distribution to me and my family. Really pleased with how things are going which is why I've not only proceeded placing my house on the market with them but I will also look for my next house through them once my property is sold.

GoogleI’ve witnessed shocking business practice by this company on two occasions now (the latest this morning and prompting this review). Viewing scheduled was supposedly cancelled via email on the morning. No email received and my mother in law had already travelled 150+ miles for the viewing (which they knew). That isn’t how you do business. Secondly, the company and its representative employees are incapable of providing accurate and objective valuations of the properties they sell. The price of the property referred to above was about £25-30k over the going market rate for similar spec (listing incorrectly stated the house was semi-detached in the first instance when in fact it was end terrace). Similarly they valued our property ~2 years ago at about £20-30k less than market value (again, wrongfully assuming our house was a 3 bed and not a 4 bed). These are the basics of any estate agent. I would not recommend this company to anyone wishing to buy/sell in the Barry area as it is evident in at least my interactions with the company that they are incompetent at doing the basics of their job. 28 years experience in doing what exactly?NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleI had a very mixed experience with Nina's. Joanne who showed around my house was an absolute sweetheart, had a lot of time for me and pretty much sold me the house based on her fab customer service. Unfortunately she only works part-time and has nothing to do with the actual sale of the properties. My purchase was fraught with difficulties caused by my vendor, but sadly the 'Senior Negotiator' in the office didn't make the situation any easier at all! In stark contrast to Joanne's warmth she was frosty and quite bad tempered. If it were based on Joanne alone, I'd have definitely given 5* (I did meet Nina and her husband, and they seemed quite nice to be fair).

GoogleWorst customer service by far. If you plan to rent a property with them make sure every conversation is via email as they go back on things they say over the phone. Also make sure when they 'welcome' you to your new home that they have your copy of the itinerary with them as Jackie didn't have mine and promised to post a copy to me. My copy was then amended from the original to change a point which was previously different and only posted 18 months later when I requested it. Luckily later conversations were via email which subsequently saved me a lot of hassle when she tried to backtrack once again. Tenants/ landlords - rent elsewhere or request a different agent!

FacebookFrom buying my apartment with Ninas in 2010, to then letting it with them from 2013, to then selling said apartment with them in 2018, I wouldn't recommend anyone else for either buying/selling/letting. Living 120 miles away Nina's has pretty much managed the property wholly for the last five years, from getting meter readings for me, and regular phonecalls, it was reassuring to know my property was in safe hands. Just small things from when I'd actually visit and Nina & Rob would remember things from years ago, little things like that go a long way. Thanks Nina & team! x

FacebookWe had a horrendous experience of trying to sell our house (not with Nina’s) and buy a new one with a number of purchases falling through...it took 352 days and seven houses before we actually got our keys. The team at Nina’s have been amazing, we’ve viewed many houses with many agents but Nina’s team are by far the best. Helpful and friendly, always able to answers questions and genuinely invested in helping you to find the perfect house. We hope never to move again but if we do, we’ll definitely be using Nina’s. Thank you all for your patience and hard work!
