FacebookI would recommend Nina Estate Agents to everyone from buyers to sellers. They were a lot more helpful than I thought an estate agent would be. As a first time buyer I was a bit unsure of the procedure of buying a property. However Pauline from Nina was extremely helpful and made the whole procedure less stressful. I found that Pauline went out of her way to act as a guide for me and explained the next steps. Which was a lot more than I was getting elsewhere.

FacebookI don't like writing negative reviews but maybe if there had been honest reviews I would've thought twice about using them. It started well with agreeing the asking price, handing over the keys and the property was in their website within an hour or two. A week later we had the first viewing. Great! Until they turned up with the wrong key so couldn't access the property so the viewing was cancelled. They tried to blame me for giving the wrong key with no regard to the fact they had lost my front door key (security issue?!?) and had no idea whose key they had been trying to open my front door with. The second viewing I have no idea if they turned up or not as I had no feedback. However, three weeks to the day that I agreed to use them we had agreed a sale and procedures commenced . It was a long slow process but at this point I was not necessarily concerned even though there was no chain either side. I started to get concerned with the lack of contact from them and the fact that no contact was initiated by them. My concerns increased when I was told different stories regarding the current position with members of staff contradicting each other. Was I being lied to or did they have no idea what was going on? Which was the lesser evil? The situation dragged in past 3 months with no real updates being received. I began to chase them once a week and then every other day which was a pointless exercise as I was always told the same thing ' it's due to be chased today' or 'sorry no update'. After 4 months I decided enough was enough and threatened to remove the house from the market. Contracts were exchanged 2 hours later! It's put us off using them again and are reluctant to view houses marketed with them.

I am sorry you feel this way, but unfortunately the Landlord wanted all other viewings to be cancelled on that property due to the fact that it had been let and did not want to waste your time by travelling to view. If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Super friendly and always professional with a dedication to their clients interests. I am so happy with the process from start to finish ... the property details were fab and only genuine buyers are introduced. FacebookI’ve witnessed shocking business practice by this company on two occasions now (the latest this morning and prompting this review). Viewing scheduled was supposedly cancelled via email on the morning. No email received and my mother in law had already travelled 150+ miles for the viewing (which they knew). That isn’t how you do business. Secondly, the company and its representative employees are incapable of providing accurate and objective valuations of the properties they sell. The price of the property referred to above was about £25-30k over the going market rate for similar spec (listing incorrectly stated the house was semi-detached in the first instance when in fact it was end terrace). Similarly they valued our property ~2 years ago at about £20-30k less than market value (again, wrongfully assuming our house was a 3 bed and not a 4 bed). These are the basics of any estate agent. I would not recommend this company to anyone wishing to buy/sell in the Barry area as it is evident in at least my interactions with the company that they are incompetent at doing the basics of their job. 28 years experience in doing what exactly?
Dear Mr Roberts, I am sorry, you feel this way. But, we had a long conversation with your relative on Thursday and she explained that her wishes were to not visit the property if it was not reduced within her price range. Unfortunately, the seller didn't and wouldn't want to reduce to the price she had mentioned. Therefore we sent an email cancelling (I have forwarded the email that we sent on Thursday, cancelling the appointment as she requested we did). We thanked her for bringing to our attention the fact it was an end of link property and not a semi detached property. Prices of property are often indicated by sellers and we merely try a figure as instructed to do so. We were more than happy to take your relative today if she so wished as explained on the telephone. We have also confirmed this again today in writing via email. I can understand that she was disappointed but it really wasn't necessary to swear obscenities at my colleague who was merely trying to sort an alternative time for her if she required.

All my questions were answered and dealt with in a professional manner and nothing was too much trouble ! Prior to this my house was on Nina's books as a rental for many years , and again I was delighted with the service I received!
