Absolutely appalling sales experience

Absolutely appalling sales experience. From being told that the buyers were cash buyers to then being told they didn't have the deposit. No fact checking had been carried out and we were led along for months without regular updates and the agent side stepping and avoiding calls only to find out the sale had fallen through and Jackson-Stops were aware but hadn't even bothered to update us! Absolutely no follow through.

In testing times they got it over the line always in touch in their professional manner to assure us in regards to the chain. I would highly recommend Jackson-Stops as an Estate Agent in the Reigate and surrounding areas.From the first initial meeting at our property to the final phone call following completion, Jackson-Stops were very professional and efficient. Everyone involved knew exactly where we were during the sales process, this reduced the stress of selling and purchasing a house. The success to buying a property involves all stakeholders working together to achieve the right outcome. Jackson Stops, and in particular our agent Chris, made sure that this took place. Avoid like the plague !

We've just had an extremely unsatisfactory experience with this supposedly high end company. We invited the Northampton office to visit us with a view to marketing a high value rural property. After a very successful and pleasant visit we waited for our Marketing Appraisal , and we waited. The other 2 companies we invited to visit both responded with reports inside of a week. Now, precisely a month later we are still waiting on a report from JacksonStops! To add insult to injury, both my brother and I rang the gentlemen concerned and were assured our report was in progress. On my final call I was assured it would be me the next day by noon! I was assured he still wanted my custom and he was full of apologies for the delay. Yet still, we have no appraisal! This is not the way a professional company should treat a prospective client. Avoid the Northampton office, if not the whole company.

From our first meeting with him at a different property, George Hill built immediate rapport with us which led to our accepting his recommendation on a property we wouldn’t of initially considered; which we ultimately bought! Thereafter George has consistently gone way above what I would expect from an estate agent to truly orchestrate the whole sale. George has worked with me on a weekly basis to chase solicitors and buyers up and down the whole chain to bring our purchase to close. His advice has been proactive and comprehensive and made a palpable difference to the whole chain. In our eyes he is worth at least another percent on your fee. Amazing over a stressful time

We cannot speak too highly of the help, support and encouragement we received from James Carroll and his wife Ria at Jackson-Stops, Barnstaple. They fully understood the significance to us of the move we were making, and never made light of it. And they gave us assistance and advice with our purchase (which was not through Jackson-Stops) as well as our sale. Makes the challenges of letting much smoother
