Karen was our sellers agent. She went above and beyond to keep us updated and chased things through when really it wasn’t even her job to do so. We used PurpleBricks and had that little contact with them I’m not even sure they know we’ve moved (if you ever need a reason to use a traditional agent!) Thanks to Karen’s hard work and persistence, our move went through much more smoothly than it otherwise would have. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Wilbys.

We received exceptional services from Wilbys and would highly recommend them to anyone who is selling and/or buying a house. Unfortunately we chose to use an alternative estate agent to sell our house, (the house we purchased was marketed by Wilbys) despite this Karen went above and beyond helping us with communication with all involved parties. Sold our house through Wilby's, we were a bit dubious about estate agents after past experiences but Wilby's were fantastic. Got us a really good price for our house, friendly and professional service throughout - Ben was fantastic with regards to valuation and getting the house on the market, and Karen absolutely went above and beyond to ensure the sale went as smoothly as possible. I have recently purchased a shared ownership resale property marketed through Wilbys. Karen was my contact person throughout the process which was challenging due to difficulties with the management company involved. Karen guided me through the process, supported me and encouraged me when needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely fantastic service. Ben and the team have been professional, courteous and seemingly always one step ahead of everyone else. They frequently kept in communication with us throughout the process and were a constant source of reassurance in what can be a stressful process. Wilbys have managed the letting of my flat for some 20 years. During that time they provided a very efficient service in terms of both securing new tenants when necessary, and managing the letting service. We have had a couple of property viewings with Wilbys over the past few months and I can honestly say that I wish we have found our next home through them because they were always very helpful, answered all of our queries regardless how easy or difficult they might’ve sounded and they were ready to guide us finding our new home. Special thanks to Mark who showed us around various properties in order to find us the one we were looking for. He was always very friendly, patient and knowledgeable about the Barnsley area and we have learned valuable informations from him. Excellent service from the Wilby's team. Mark's initial valuation and his obvious local knowledge gave me confidence that this was realistic (a couple had given substantially lower valuations which I felt was just to get them a quick turnaround, another was unrealistically high). Viewings came in regularly and I received a few offers at different times through the process - showing the viewing process was good (I always got what I thought to be good advice on their suitability). A special shout out to Karen who was my main contact and dealt with a number of ups and downs that happened during the sale process. Karen was always professional, realistic and quick to respond - acting in the best interest of the sale (especially given I live remotely).
