Merryweathers Estate Agents Barnsley are proud to be overlooked by the iconic Town Hall and historic buildings in and around Regent Street in the Town Centre. Parking is available right outside the office or we are just a short walk away from several Town Centre car parks. For people visiting for the abundance of shops, the market or the amazing Cooper Gallery, your property will be on display for an array of passers by. Our team of property experts are on hand to assist with any property requirements whether it be buying, selling or lettings. Our in house independent mortgage advisor is also available either in person or over the phone for all of your mortgage needs.

Been interested in buying a house they offered. At the beginning it's been going really well, the only annoying thing were additional sites giving you the opportunity to find solicitors, move companies, and plenty of other things at extra and insane costs.

She was attentive to my needs but also those of the buyer - making sure we were able keep things moving forward swiftly. She keeps in touch with excellent communication of progress, is happy to discuss alternatives and makes you feel valued. Overall a very personal service that I am happy to recommend.

Pleasant enough to deal with. I offered £140000 on a property back in May 24 only to be told that I would need to significantly increase my offer in order to be in with a chance of buying. The property was listed for £120000. I have just seen on Zoopla that the property finally sold for £125000, significantly lower than my offer. It would be interesting to know why I wasn’t contacted prior to the house selling well below my offer price.

I'm writing concerning the Barnsley Branch of Merryweathers. I have had to deal from a distance with a probate sale on behalf of a relative. I first met Nichola at the property amongst other agents.Was more than impressed and chose Merryweathers as the agent to sell. Everything they said they would do....they did from marketing, to thoughts on how the sale would manifest and ultimately taking it through to completion. I had the pleasure of dealing with Hilary and Beth who only endorsed the high level of service and communication. Across the board they were first class and faultless

A* for the Barnsley Branch. Nothing too much trouble (which is more than I can say for a couple of solicitor firms involved in the sale). Out of all we paid to move Merryweathers are the only ones that deserved their fee. It’s the second time we’ve used them and they have been outstanding both times. Nicola and Chloe are who I dealt with mostly, Chloe being the one person I dealt with the most. She is professional, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. From the moment Nicola walked into my late mum's property, to value it, she was professional. friendly and understood that it was hard for us. She had empathy and explained everything we needed to know, to be able to market and sell her home. We decided to use the on line scheme, called Netmyhouse, which was excellent, and two buyers were found very quickly, unfortunately, as there was an issue with the lease, and both sales fell through. But Chloe was amazing and resilient throughout.Hilary was now our main contact, through the office in Barnsley, and again two buyers were found, almost straight away. We accepted an offer from an elderly lady, and got right up to exchange, but through her ill health, we lost the sale for a third time. We were beginning to lose hope, and thought we were never going to sell.But Hilary was very helpful, and suggested we contact the other interested party again, to ask if they may still be interested. and they were. Through her hard work and determination, we finally exchanged and legally completed last Friday.So, a massive Thank You to all the team in Barnsley, they are amazing and credit to the company. It has been my pleasure doing business with Nicola, Chloe and Hilary.
