Hunters listed a rental property two days ago and I had contacted them making an enquiry an hour after it was posted. No response. so I went online and found a book a viewing form and completed it. No response. The next day I emailed asking further about the property. No response. Today no call or no email, no response. So I call up and I am informed that they are fully booked for viewings and they probably wont do another one. Absolutely no communication. Zero customer service.An entirely incompetent estate agents. I had to drag the information out of them and at no stage was I contacted. The entirety of their reviews for 2024 details their utter incapability.

Amazing service from start to finish .A special mention to Della who went above and beyond what was expected, Della's communication was fantastic even on her days off she would chase information and update us. Della was instrumental in the completion date and kept the chain together. We'd of been lost without her. Thanks Della. Highly recommend.

Not recommend at all. Once deposit is paid they not answering any emails. Dificult to sort any issue and also forget about getting deposit back at the end. Avoid

GoogleExcellent service. Friendly, approachable and professional. I dealt mostly with Robert and then Zack. They were both great but Zack in particular was really helpful and always answered my calls or emails and really got things moving when the sale became a little stuck. Would recommend without hesitation.

GoogleHunter's Barnsley are a very professional and efficient Estate agency. They helped me to sell my house and got a good price for it, consistent with what they valued it on initial meeting. They kept me updated throughout the process in terms of viewings, interested parties and offers that came in. Appalling customer service from the stoke office and I'm not even one of their tenants, had the misfortune to be involved with a leak from one of their tenants, it took over 6 months to get to the repair stage which when done was really poor workmanship so I'm having to do it myself, the staff are unhelpful and don't care so if they treat third party tenants like that it must be really bad for their own tenants.

Hunters Northenden branch. Louis at Hunters could not have been more helpful. I was renting a retirement property for my father who was moving areas to be nearer us. Louis was very understanding of our needs and our urgency and we had everything sorted within 3 weeks. He was very efficient and answered emails very promptly. We couldn't have had a better experience.

I have had experience with Hunters in the past on multiple occasions. I am disappointed everytime from their lack of felixibility. For example if you're trying to rent and your annual income matches but does not excees what is expected by Hunters then they will abruptly cut you off. Also horrible customer service by the staff and do not know what they are doing. On a flat i called twice one staff member told me i had to satisfy an income of 29.000 pounds and another staff member told me i had to exceed 30.000 wich makes me doubt their honesty. I have had much better experiences with other agencies. Do not reccomend.

My boyfriend and I were purchasing a property through Hunters and they were pleasant enough. However, when we received the results of the independent survey two months down the line, it highlighted what we considered to be significant problems with the property, particularly the necessity of a whole new roof, and the replacement of brickwork.Naturally, we had not - and could not have - factored in the cost of these repairs, or the time it would take to carry them out, so we emailed our contact at Hunters in Sunderland, simply outlining the issues that the survey had presented, and attaching the report in full. The reply we received explained ‘The seller is not under any obligation to carry out any work or offer a reduction’. While true, this attitude seemed hostile to us, and rather unprofessional. We did not mention a negotiation of price, or the current owners carrying out the work themselves - although, to be frank, these did not seem unreasonable expectations.We had misgivings about how considerable an undertaking the repairs would be, both financially and physically, but were open to discussing options with Hunters/the sellers. However, we decided to withdraw from the sale, and Hunters’ attitude did play a big part in that. As a prospective buyer, you do not have a choice over which estate agent to deal with, but I would certainly be reticent about purchasing a property sold by Hunters in the future, and would strongly advise sellers to consider the overwhelmingly negative reviews on this page before engaging Hunters, as the wrong estate agent could scupper a sale, as in this case.

We drove over 250 miles to view a house listed for let @ £900. We said we like it and were happy to proceed, after all similar properties down south cost £1000 a month….We were absolutely shocked when they got back to us, offering us the house for £1000 because they knew we could afford it… we were aghast! I have never ever encountered such skullduggery and dishonesty…. Of course we declined… how can one deal with such a dishonest estate agent as these!

GoogleWow, moved house 7 times now and never experienced the level of service provided by Hunters. Professional from beginning to end. Communication and customer service is second to none. Realistic valuation and quick response by Robert. Amazing support the whole way through, friendly, professional and determined service from Zack. Fantastic, quick and informative completion with Laura who went above and beyond expectations. A truly competent, efficient team that absolutely know their sector. I really wouldn’t consider any other estate agent in the future. Thanks to the Hunters “team” I quite enjoyed this move.

GoogleExcellent service from start to finish. Robert gave the house a great valuation and explained the process of selling the property. I had terrific feedback and support from Hunters staff throughout. The first people to view the house, bought it. The sale was then taken over by Ashleigh, who also was a great support to me. Our family home for 66 years is now home to a new generation and hoping they have a great life living there as we did. I would recommend Hunters to anyone buying or selling a property.

As working professionals who can rarely get free time during the weekdays, it's extremely annoying to book days off to view properties to find they're by application, and we submitted our application the day we viewed, only to have the application be rejected because it wasn't processed in time before the landlord accepted an alternative application. Not worth the time.

Hunters Horncastle:If you are looking for an EA who keeps you updated and informed then I would NOT use Hunters, if you want the privilege of paying for doing your own work then by all means use this EA, also if you want to feel as though the EA is acting on behalf of the buyer instead of the seller… this is the one for you!!! They say the right things to get the initial business and then offer bad advise and never any follow up or conversations about the state of the market during contract period, even when requested. Also emails and WA messages were ignored. Worst Estate Agent I’ve ever used. It seems that Katherine (who did the viewings) and Susan (admin) seem to hold them just above water and do all the donkey work. Just my honest opinion!! Would have given zero rating if possible

Googlefound out about hunters from getagent on face book, I was happy with the selling price and valuation. they did all the viewings, kept me informed of bookings, dates, feed back and found a buyer in 2 weeks. They also helped me with the ECP. Very satisfied all round with the service.

We used hunters to put our house up for sale in October 2024. Despite a few problems with surveys etc Hunters manged to sell our house to a cash buyer. the communication and updates during the process were very clear and professional. Selling a home is a very stressful experience however hunters helped us throughout the journey
