My experience of selling a property using Hunters of Barnsley was so much better than I anticipated at the start. The initial meeting with Robert set the process in motion. It was friendly professional and full of local knowledge presented by someone who was local and lived locally The ensuing sale was guided and advised on by all the others of the local Hunters team. They were very supportive throughout the usual ups and downs stops and starts etc. Sale now completed so a big family thank you to all the team.

I honestly can’t thank Zack enough for everything he did for my wife Chloe during our house sale and purchase. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a really stressful situation due to delays and issues on the buyer’s side, but Zack was relentless throughout. He was constantly chasing, following up, and pushing things forward when others simply weren’t responding. There were times where it felt like nothing was happening, but Zack was always working behind the scenes, keeping pressure on and keeping us updated as much as possible. What really stood out was how much he genuinely cared about getting things over the line for us. He went above and beyond what you would normally expect, especially when dealing with a very difficult solicitor on the other side. Even he said it was one of the most challenging cases he’s dealt with, but he never let that slow him down. Without Zack, I genuinely don’t think this would have completed when it did. If you’re buying or selling, you want someone like him in your corner. Highly recommend Hunters, and especially Zack.

I cannot recommend Zach at Hunters highly enough. I was dealing with an incredibly difficult solicitor on the buyer's side that threatened to stall everything, but Zach was absolutely relentless. He went above and beyond to push the sale of my flat and my house purchase through. He is always helpful, proactive, and honestly the reason I didn’t lose my mind during the process! One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters auction. House was listed on website and tenanted for a fixed amount of rent which I was told by the auction agent called Robert. Also house was in bad state but got told tenants don’t care so why do you. Only to find out later on that tenants have never paid anywhere near that amount and it’s so much lower. So was lied to first of all and then later to meet the tenants and for them to tell us all the work they was promised and they wanted the house fixing top to bottom. What an absolute joke and waste of time and money. Keep your money and go elsewhere they will tell you anything just to sell a house that is overpriced

Rude, poor service - a must avoid for renters

Rude, get passed around from pillar to post while they try to ignore your requests or questions. Tried for years to get them to fix things but just continually fell on deaf ears. Now they're trying to claim issues are my fault which are down to shoddy contractors (which they use consistently, including at one point despite having had yearly gas checks, I get told that the previous 6 years hasn't been done properly and the build up that caused a leak was because of this. Everything is everyone's issue but theirs. Renters, avoid at all costs!

Hunters provided us with a smooth selling process from start to finish and our house sold in just two days. Thanks to Adam who valued, photographed and filmed our house. The photos and film looked great and definitely boosted interest on social media. Between Robert and Zack, we were kept up to date with how things were going in what turned out to be a very quick selling process of six weeks. Special mention goes also to Robert and Zack who were very tolerant of my stroppy mood (the high number of viewings in those first couple of days pushed me over the edge. Sorry!).

We can’t thank or recommend the Hunters Barnsley Team enough! We recently sold two properties with Hunters and had so much support from start to finish; answering all of our questions, helping us liaise with our buyers, navigate solicitors and were reasonably priced, with no hidden fees. We got slightly above asking price on both properties after Adam’s valuation, photos/videos on Social Media and RightMove. Brogan was super speedy at getting viewings booked in around our schedules. Then Zack and Robert were on hand to help with everything else, there wasn’t anything we phoned for that they didn’t want to or couldn’t help with. We are hopeful that we won’t need/want to sell again, but we’d recommend the Hunters team to anyone who is!

Honestly do not know where to start… If you’re wanting to sell your house in a flash, this is the estate agents to use! The whole team at Hunters worked great together, updating me at every step of the sale right up to completion. Firstly thanks to Adam who came out to value and take some amazing photos of our house, who then went on to upload them on social media, which I feel massively boosted our viewings. Brogan was amazing with booking in viewings which suited us as a family. Then on to Robert and Zack who guided us through absolutely everything we needed to know, right down to using the very best solicitor which massively helped the sales process. Nothing was too much trouble. The professionalism and experience you get from these guys is outstanding. I wouldn’t go anywhere else when it comes to selling a house.
