Overall a very poor experience. After initially meeting with one of the owners I decided to market my property with Spencer and Sener, They told me they had 30+ years experience, they know the area etc etc. when I had my first viewing, they sent a young boy who had absolutely no idea what he was doing. I believe his first words when entering the property with the prospective buyers were, “this is the cupboard” he had no knowledge of the property, no knowledge of the area, he was no salesperson. I then requested that the person who actually sold me the service would conduct the viewings. Yes there was an improvement in how the property was sold to perspective buyers but there was a lot of room for improvement. I was told on multiple occasions, the buyer we had lined up has had a emergency, or something has come up, we need to reschedule and nothing ever materialises, you can decide for yourself if these buyers were real or not, my view is that they were not. In their defence, I did have to delay some viewings due to a health condition in the family, however these viewings were never booked in again. I was true to my contact and gave the required notice, however they then decided to send me an invoice for £150, even though this is not stated in the contract. I have asked for clarification on this and still no reply. If you want to sell your property I would avoid this firm, lots of agents who I’m sure can do a better job.
