GoogleI was managing an executor sale and worked with both David Mitchell and Daniel Millet on the sale of my uncle’s home. Their level of service and professionalism was excellent for both the sale and close process, and their willingness to guide me through every step of the sale was so helpful, especially as I do not live in the UK, and was doing everything remotely. They managed my expectations well and in a very short time were able to achieve the price target. Coincidently Martyn Gerrard was the agent when my uncle’s parents bought the home in 1975. Only fitting that they should be involved in the sale! Highly recommended

TrustpilotService Charge errors and overstatement
Martyn Gerrard manages our small estate of seven properties. The 2025 expenses for service charge were incorrectly overstated to the homeowners by c40%. The 2026 service charges were then increased by more than 25% on the basis of the misstated cost of 2025. Having requested this be rectified and corrected, with new invoices issued, we are still waiting. Bin collection services and insurance have been cut off while we wait for corrected service charges. MG is actively disruptive and careless of their responsibility.

Although I didn't end up choosing a property with Martyn Gerrard, the agent assigned to my search, Shivali, was very proactive and forthcoming with new flats coming onto the market that might be of interest to me. Most other agents I dealt with from other estate agents were not as attentive. I wish all agents were as enthusiastic, patient, and helpful as Shivali was in aiding my search.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Received increase in rent from our tenants as agreed with us for the last 5 months and instead of paying to the landlord, have pocketed for themselves. Avoid avoid avoid!!!!An increased rent was agreed as guaranteed rent at the beginning of the year. Martyn Gerrard have everything in writing and evidence of previous payments . They now refuse to pay us this sum on the basis they do not have a signed contract to this effect. The reason there is no signed contract is because we have awaited a draft since January and have chased this on numerous occasions and it was not provided, and every month we were fobbed off and told we would receive the draft by the following month. No draft ever came. Mrtyn Gerrard also agreed with us as per previous emails in April that they would backdate us for the increased amount, and instead of doing so, they now want to pocket the extra money they have received for a period of 5 months from the tenant. The fact that they have lost all the paperwork as they say do not have a further signed contract despite us chasing for a draft version on numerous occasions since January is of no relevance. They have received the increase in rent and it is an implied term of the rolling contract those monies should be returned to us.
We have reopened this case for further investigation as the issues seem be revolving around your previous agent. Clearly there is some confusion with regard to the type of contact you hold with them and we will be contacting you to clear this up and any other outstanding issues.

GoogleWe worked with Daniel and David to sell a flat that my mother owned and they both went above and beyond. It ended up being more complicated than anticipated but Daniel and David kept pushing forward. The communication was excellent with regular updates and phone calls. It felt as though we were all on the same team which made a potentially very stressful situation feel alot easier. Highly recommend :)

They don't listen to your brief and their tone is rude. Constant spamming with properties outside the criteria, and then they send you one thing that fits, only to tell you very rudely that they don't consider you as a serious buyer. Raj is particularly awful. It's fine to say "x and y stage might take you a few months, so we'll find some sellers for that timeline, but this particular property owner needs to sell faster" - but not just dismiss you out of hand with "I'll call you back in six months". Will not be using them!
