We rented from Martyn Gerrard for 3 years and had the worst experience ever. Martyn Gerrard lied, shared our data without our consent, entered our property without our permission and threatened us. Their behaviour was unacceptable and they wouldn't accept critism. They told us their clients were not us, the renters, but the landlords. We were previously renting from the renowned 'london's worst landlord' and we had alot better experience than with Martyn Gerrard. Never ever rent with Martyn Gerrard. We are now buying and won't even consider a plce if the estate agent is Martyn Gerrard

Very happy with my experience thus far. The initial renting went well, then also the renegotiation, as the landlord wanted a huge 12.5% increase in year 2. On each occasion I ended up dealing with a different person. I think as with all these things though, it really depends who you get on an individual basis. If you get unlucky, whichever organisation/agency you are with, then it's a rough ride that ends up costing you.

GoogleAsked Martyn Gerrard for an appraisal to help sell our flat. Gregg Cruder, the manager, arrived 30 minutes late to the meeting having already rescheduled earlier that day. He made some positive sounds about selling and then left. He then rabbited on about the importance of trust and integrity in business. We didnt hear from them for about a week and then tried to contact them 3 to 4 times in the following days - we received no returned call or any contact. I'd have been happy with the decency of a response to say they didnt want our business, but we didnt even get that. All in all wasted our time and showed none of the integrity they love to suggest they have.

GoogleI recently used Martyn Gerrard to let my house in Mill Hill. It is a lovely but quite a quirky property and although I had a number of viewings through the local office, no one made an offer. However, when Eva Zannettou got involved things changed. She took new photographs which really did justice to the proportion of and light in the rooms. She made a real positive out of the unique character and unusual layout of the house. And as promised, she found me new tenants who moved in last week. I found Eva a real pleasure to work with, keeping me informed and giving good advice. Once tenants were found, Ali did a good job in sorting out the relevant paperwork and keeping me up to date.

We were looked after when moving in, but nothing of the sort when moving out. PPE was not properly worn to viewings, no gloves, masks under the nose etc. I had to bring PPE up at the start to even be reassured that it would be worn. They didn't communicate in the preferred method although I told them multiple times. They didn't respond efficiently to emails. They sent an email explaining I had to pay a check out fee, which is now illegal, when I queried it they removed it. They didn't even confirm when a new tenant was found to allow us to be put at ease. Luckily I had a great landlord who I could work with for the most part instead. I would have been stuffed if they managed the property.
