I have had an excellent experience renting a beautiful home with Dexters in London. Unlike other agencies, Dexters demonstrates care and attention through prompt correspondence, understanding of my needs as a tenant and delightful customer service. Any flat or house will have some problems, the rest of a rental agency is the quality and timeliness of their service. Dexters has exceeded my expectations in both areas. When I moved in and observed the house not up to the post move clean I was expecting, Dexter’s had cleaners there in a matter less than two hours, rather than a day or more. When I needed blinds fixed they maintained proactive communications with me. And finally a fault in the washing machine was handled in no time. I am delighted that I will be renting with Dexter’s for at least another two years. Catherine M. in particular is super friendly and kind. Thank you so much!

I am a client of 2 Dexters branches. One works very well because there is an individual who can take responsibility and get things done. 5 stars. At the other branch, I have no single contact and when I call the letting branch they say maintenance is not their responsibility (despite being the managers) and I am referred to the property management people (not sure where they are located ) but then still no single person takes responsibility. It can be a very trying experience finding someone who will actually do anything to help

Dexters have been fully managing our property since August have done a great job. We, unfortunately, had a major leak that damaged the property all the way from the top floor to the lower ground floor, and this was just five days before the new corporate client was supposed to move in. The team too swift action to get the house ready for the tenant to live in while the longer term damage could be repaired. They even worked with our insurance company to process the claim. It has been a very stress free (despite the extent of the damage) and hands off experience for us. We are very pleased we handed over the management of our property to Dexters.

Dexters in Muswell Hill, north London took on the management and major works of a grade 2 block. They sold themselves on their expertise of managing historical properties. They recommend surveyors and contractors suitable for the task of major works. In a nutshell, a clueless organisation with zero knowledge of lime mortar Flemish bond buildings. They added zero value and in some aspects destroyed value to the block by the cowboys they recommend.

Working with dexters makes my working environment really smooth and easy, they are always organised and on top of things, any issues or problems they always have a solution, also claire from management is always approachable and if there is anything we need or any support or guidance we need she will go over and beyond to help us, working closely along side management team colleagues like graziana, angelo and noura has really made my experience working with dexters great and enjoyable at times as they are always knowledgeable with every barrier we face with move ins, the whole team are great to work with.

As well as providing an excellent service to me as a landlord, looking after my properties superbly, finding excellent tenants and responding swiftly and efficiently to any of my queries, she also goes the extra mile to look after my tenants too. In recent times, with the economic crisis affecting us all, she works tirelessly to ensure that both my tenants and I have the best service. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I made the mistake of trusting Dexters again after an initial incident where pure profit over people made me wish I never encountered them, but I loved the look of a place being advertised and couldn't help but at least attempt to see if it was right for me. In the end not only was it a "bait and switch" the property being advertised was already off the market but I 1- got inedadted with irrelevant properties in my inbox 2- was stood up at a viewing that was scheduled and 3 had all of my communication preferences ignored. I won't fall again for the trickery and horrificly unprofessional conduct of Dexters again.

Just sold my property with Dexters in Tooting.I could not be happier with their work, attitude and performance: an absolute delight.The team led by Gaz worked tirelessly to get the property through as many viewings as possible. He was instrumental in marketing the property at the right price point which proved to be correct, as they found a buyer within very few weeks. From then on, Micheal took over. He was not just great in sealing the deal, but he also was brilliant in managing the process all the way through completion. I was kept informed on a weekly basis and he made sure communication between all parties was always flowing in the right direction. I would like to thank him for his professionalism, positive attitude and great work. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Dexters, they are a great bunch of people, who work very hard and, from my experience, delivered on their promise

Completely ghosted by an agent after we had already started looking at properties together. Tried to follow up via phone and email multiple times, no reply. A simple email saying „this property isn’t available anymore“ or whatever the reason might be is simply the professional thing to do, and it’s not hard. Will not be contacting them again for my next home search!

Dexters have looked after the management of our property for quite some years now, and I would like to take this opportunity to mention that in the past 12 months the attention to our needs and the management of our property has become a 5 star service. Our appointed property manager, George Bromage, is polite, helpful and efficient and ensures that all our needs and requests are taken care of in the best way possible way. I feel sure that our tenants are equally pleased with any dealings with him. His service is 5 Star!

I have let my property for over 4 years with initially Sebastian Roche, which was then taken over by Dexters. I have always had great service. My point of contact has always been Myra Mettam in the SE London office who is very responsive and gives good advice. She replies promptly to emails and has been on the ball for problems that could possibly arise. She is proactive which I find refreshing. She also supports the tenants appropriately. I had a problem with one of the tradesmen that the office organised a few years ago (overcharged for the work carried out). It was made clear to the office that this would not be appropriate, and since then I have had no such issues and only their trusted tradesmen have attended the property since. In the coyboy world of letting agencies, I would say that their management fees are fair and they provide a good service for both tenants as well as property owners.

Dexters got me excellent tenants in no time, there was only one week between the previous tenants leaving and the current tenants arriving! But I particularly appreciate the management of the tenancy agreement that they provide: Thank you, Myra, for your excellent inspections and for providing me with the right contacts whenever a problem arises. It matters to have confidence in an agent who is always responsive to the needs of the landlord and the tenant. I would recommend Dexters for both finding suitable tenants and for efficiently managing the ensuing agreement.
