Thank you for your review Alex, although this does not describe the circumstances that occurred when you and Jamie applied to rent a property through our agency, we will highlight that now for clarity. Before you paid a holding deposit we gave you a receipt which listed specific terms and obligations, unfortunately two terms were breached by you, the first term breached was that you failed to disclose pertinent information that one of the applicants had previously been declared Bankrupt which was key information for the landlord to make a decision on whether to accept you as tenants, this raised alarm bells to the landlord. The second term breached was that you withdrew from the application stating that you had since signed and renewed a new tenancy agreement with your current landlord. When we said that the landlord was still considering your application you then said that you will continue your application to rent the property, clearly this contradicts your previous statement where you said you had already re-signed a new tenancy agreement with your current landlord, this raised further alarm bells for the landlord and they subsequently did not want to proceed with you as they felt there was a lack of trust. You also failed to mention in your review that we actually tried to resolve the situation by offering a solution to the landlord to try assist your application, we did the best we could in our capacity as agent to the landlord but ultimately the decision lies with them. We suggest in future that you disclose all information in advance.
