As first time buyers, my wife and I had no clue in purchasing a house and as soon as we had our first house visit with Tim i knew we had nothing to worry about. His knowledge was fantastic as were his ideas for home improvements. Tim was also flexible enough to meet us on his way home from work to enable us a 2nd visit which fitted around our hectic schedule. I can't say enough good things about Nadine who dealt with us for everything else. I have just bought a house. I chose the wrong solicitor to do the conveyancing. Glaciers move faster. Of course it was always "someone else's fault" when I got in touch with my solicitor. W&G were absolutely first class. They chased and cajoled and did everything else possible to make the deal happen ASAP. They could not have been more helpful. I was tearing my hair out by the end of the transaction because it was time specific. They were super supportive, kept me informed and just did their best to keep things moving. I never thought I would be writing a glowing review for an estate agent, but here I am and I could not be happier to do it. Next time I will even take advice from them about solicitors, because let's face it, the prices are bound to be in the same ball park (or am I being naive again) but they will actually know who can move efficiently. Top job W&G!

Just bought our new home through Williams & Goodwin. The house we wished to view was arranged for the next day at a time convenient to us. We were met at the property and we're professionally shown around, the agent was knowledgeable, he didn't rush us and most importantly he wasn't pushy. He knew the property and surrounding area inside out, (it was in fact Mr Goodwin himself).
We loved the property so much we made a realistic offer, the agent taking the call was enthusiastic and resourceful, I felt that she was genuinely interested in helping us get this property, after some negotiations we agreed on a price and from that moment on from offer to completion the same agent dealt with us, we were kept up to date with the whole process, when the solicitors were felt to be not moving as quickly as expected the agent was able to quickly intervene and guide both us the buyers and the seller to speed things up.
In summary we have been extremely impressed with Williams & Goodwin estate agents. And wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future to buy or sell a property.

I found these agents to be helpful and courteous on the whole. However the gentleman showing the property didn't seem to have much background knowledge on the property. My telephone calls were not always returned and there was some confusion regarding completion with blame passed on to my solicitor when it was more the seller's solicitor's fault after my deposit had been transferred. I greatly appreciated the keys being delivered to their office near my workplace.
