I rented a one-bedroom flat for 3 months, the balcony had no protection and it took them almost 2 months to send someone to install cheap lumber there. When I decided to leave they charged me for everything and they want to return only 35% of my deposit. They charged me 50 for the string to pull up the curtain (seriously?), AND 50 for painting the wall (I peeled the paint off when I remove my painting) and the kitchen, and it goes on and on. I lived there for 3 months and they cleaned as if I had lived for 1 year. My deposit is in dispute and I will not give them the pleasure of keeping my money just because they inflated the costs.

First class letting

Having had bad experiences with letting agencies in the past I was nervous about renting from another agency. I really had nothing to worry about with Northwood from the very first enquiry email they have been nothing but first class. I had to move during lockdown and they couldn’t have been more helpful. I have always fear with Scott Morrison he has been amazing replies to my emails really quickly, no matter the question he always replies with an answer for me from filling out the initial application form, random questions I might have or any maintenance issues. He is always polite and professional and nothing is to much trouble for them. Couldn’t recommend Northwood enough to rent a property through, you really won’t regret it.

Wouldn't rent with any

Been renting with various letting agents for nearly 10 years, Northwood were by far the best. Previously we have found that as soon as you have signed for the property, the customer care goes out the window and the letting agents can be patronising and upon leaving they do their best to get as much taken off the deposit as possible. This is not the same with Northwood, they respected our privacy and were not at all patronising. When we handed in our notice they were the only landlords that have understood that in the notice period we are still paying for the property and for that period it is still our home, something other landlords frequently forget. When we raised maintenance issues they were quick to organise a repair. Best renting experience we've had.
