The Open Day was disappointing for my property but I received two offers within a week of each other and hope to exchange soon. Hayley too provided excellent service, very efficient with great communication.

Frightening and traumatic experience

Frightening and traumatic experience: When I got back to Brocco on the Park, a Fine and Country hotel, at 1.30am, sober, after attending a 50th (the reason for my stay) the door was locked. No one answered the phone, nor my knocking at the door, or the doorbell. After many panicked attempts, including calling my husband and waking him up to ask for help, I called my friends whose party it was and got a cab across town to sleep on their sofa. I had very little sleep. At least I had somewhere to go. The hotel had a night porter, but he must have been sleeping on the job. Also they were supposed to give me a code for the door, which they did not do. I was cold, tired and afraid to be stranded on my own in the middle of the night. My essential medications along with the rest of my carefully packed belongings were in the room.

Wasted thousands of pounds with a completely incompetent and untruthful estate agent. Represented a immoral client and was quite happy to go along with his unethical decisions when both the seller and the estate agent knew my position. Waited for 9 months for the house to be finished as agreed and then asked for considerably more money. Why on earth Terry didn’t advise the seller that this was unethical and completely unfair considering how understanding we were, especially considering we were first time buyers. Disgusting service and would never advise anyone to use them. Very glad it backfired for both F&C and the seller.

After a few months we switched to F&C. Although it was more expensive, we chose Chris firstly because of his level of understanding of our type of home and the local area. Also, we were impressed with how proactive he was, even before we signed up. Not long into partnering, we were getting viewings left, right and centre. Chris managed to sell our house quickly and we were out of there within three weeks of accepting an offer! Very happy and would recommend!
