We cannot thank Josh Simpson enough for all of his help and support throughout what has been an incredibly long and, at times, very stressful buying and selling process. Josh has been absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He has been incredibly approachable, responsive and proactive, and has gone above and beyond to keep everything moving, particularly during the more difficult stages of the transaction. When communication elsewhere in the chain was proving frustrating, Josh was consistently the person who kept us updated, chased things up and helped to push everything in the right direction. What really stood out was how genuinely invested Josh was in getting us over the line. Even when things were outside of his control, he remained patient, reassuring and incredibly helpful. His communication has been excellent throughout, and we always felt that he was doing everything he could to help. Moving house is stressful enough without a complicated chain and slow communication from solicitors, but having Josh there made such a difference. We genuinely don’t think we’d have got to exchange as smoothly without his persistence and support. Thank you so much, Josh, for everything you’ve done for us. You’ve been brilliant, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone buying or selling a property. An absolute credit to the estate agency!

Having been with Bairstow Eves for a long number of years I have always found the whole team very professional and supportive when renting out our property. We recently had tenants move out and I have to say Quentin was extremely helpful and proactive. He very quickly found a contractor to redecorate the property and had new tenants ready to move in straight away. Quentin has been outstanding in keeping us updated throughout the whole process. He always followed up his emails with a telephone call which was greatly appreciated. Overall I’m really happy with the service and support I received from Bairstow Eves.

We were first-time buyers and completed the purchase of our first house in 3.5 months (including two weeks of Christmas office closures) for a small-ish chain. Josh Simpson was very helpful and helped us all along with the hellish process of buying a house. Diana was also always available to move the process along. Although I did not end up going with Dylan for our mortgage application, our initial consultation with him was very helpful to understand our affordability. He offered us the best products that were available on the market. There was a ~2-week delay in getting the memorandum of sale issued, but all in all, a great team in Banbury.

Poor quality viewings and service

The Clapham branch sales negotiator was late for the viewing and didn’t ask anyone from the office to notify us (15 minutes late). He had also double booked the appointment, the entire booking was a bit of a disorganised mess. There was a fair bit he wasn’t aware of and generally wasn’t that helpful. The specifications I gave weren’t followed in the viewings. I was ignored when asked if I wanted a broker and my contact information was shared when I had asked for it not to.

What can I say… I am one of those women who wants everything done NOW 😂 and somehow they actually managed to keep up with me! From putting my house on the market to completion, the whole thing took around 3 months. I was probably not the easiest customer because I was constantly emailing, asking questions and wanting everything to move faster 😂 but they were always there, always replying and always keeping me updated. Absolutely disgusting service

Absolutely disgusting service, they come across very professional when they value the house, but once its on the market the staff are unhelpful and take days to answer emails. The details were incorrect online as it was put live without us agreeing the details, the pictures were awful and the one thing we did make them change. There has been no effort to sell the house, only having one viewer in two months. Only to find out that the contract is for 4 months too, devastated. Stay away from this company.
